Some of you talk like you are professionals at building a market hub in NPC 0.0. The general point I am trying to make is that there is something down here for everyone.

There's talk about setting up quickly, because of the nature of this venture it has attracted lots of independent players who do most things on their own. The guys already here or planning to come down haven't even used our JF services, they used their own means of getting stuff here or they used wormholes, if that is want they want then I am not going to impose JF services on them.

I've read the criticism posts here and I feel that some of you will never know what Drac and I are talking about simply because you're not in a position where you're spearheading plans to build a nullsec market hub and most likely never will be. We have got a handful of people interested and there is a nice buzz down here.

Your biggest problem is just that .Planning , planning ,talking talking , planning , talking ... i told you about that before.

You started this thread 3 months ago and even the simple thing of buying stuff in jita and having it jf'd there through black frog seems to give you guys a hard time.

You have as i read it here allmost no liquid isk , allmost no people participating , allmost no standings wich the locals .. well appart from negative standings as they tend to shoot you after 3 months of talking and planning.

It's quite simple to start this :

-Build up liquid isk or get in touch with a rich industrial/trader who wants to participate .
-Buy basic stuff people fly and fit in jita and courier it through black frog to stain.
-Make a thread in the recruitment section of the forum explaining what you want to do , that they do not need to be a part of your corp etc AND in the process enlighten them that the market is fully stocked with basic fittings/ships.Possibly also have a thread here as this one.
-Respond to the people who are showing interest in your recruitment add .
-Make a mailing list and an intel channel .The mailing list is there for people to tell you what items you are lacking and those that show to lack most you ship there again using black frog.

On a sidenote as i and others allready have suggested , have another look at syndicate as it is really ideall to do just what you want to do.Getting standings there with the locals should not be a big problem either.I've been in syndicate a lot of times on my own and every time within a week i have good standings with most of the local residents.

Ow lol should have read this post before i posted mine. But this is basically what i said to. Didn't goons start in syndicate? But they prob have assets in syndicate to liquidate 40% above jita

And it has begun.

Aaron/drac (<- as i remember the same person but i could be wrong) again you should have worked out a better plan:

- Logistic routes (so stuff actually can get there)
- Protection (so corpies don't get blown up all the time)
- Doctrines (so you can defend yoursefl)
- Forums
- Teamspeak
- Jabber?

And most of all = BLUES

As i read it you have none of the abbove.

Logistics - Have a level of that, will have the JF and Rorqual in a short space of time.
Protection - Developing nicely with more people joining
Doctrines - Have that
Forum - Have that
Teamspeak - Have that
Jabber - See no reason to have that

Blues, have them, plus a couple of batphones, but thanks for the opportunity to put it down in a short reply.

Wow, just wow.
Stacmon has a good market, from there you can head to Barleguet and punch out Brave Newbies, or a short drive to KLYN-8 or even around to Orvolle for the scenic route. Syndicate: less needed, get more done. Do you even spaceship, bro?
Also: short replies if any, your e-honore novellas make you look a bit silly, just sayin.

I was planning to come and help Aaron do this when he made this thread, so my planning was not quite there, but I had 25bn in total assets. I built up a huse stock of jump fuel for this by the way...

In process talking to a couple of industrialists, but low key at the moment.

You should see my hanger, full of basic stuff.

Made a thread in teh recruitment channel, but then realised most people we got was through meeting people in space and this thread.

Intel channel, done, mailing list done.

OK, there you go!

The onus is on you, you criticize here, talk about leadership, and then express how you did 'logistics', but then you post using your cyno alt, you do realise that leaders stand up, not hide in the shadows.

Now check back the thread a bit and you may note that the structure has two sets of blues, +5 and +10, +10 are who I fly with, people who prove themselves to me, so if your main does that then yes he may get to a position to have a go at my PvP ships, however my logistic ships are only with those that I fully trust and there is only a limited number of them, so at some point like all your type you will come out with perhaps a 1bn kill, or something like that and that my friend is something I will just laugh at.

Do you think that making something like this means we don't plan for that type of player coming here, you are the one that is funny, and I don't make friends with people who critic behind an alt. You know I was wondering just how long it would be until you made a awoxer threat, what a surprise.

Post with your main or shut up!

I was there for the original Hub Zero. I originally flew with Aaron and then I joined the group that broke off from him, which eventually turned into Local-Spike.

Here are the facts guys. You can trust Aaron and Dracvlad. You will have fun with them. The danger of NPC nullsec makes it fun. The logistics challenge makes it fun.

You are certainly going to have a better time than running missions or mining in highsec. Best of all you get to play with other people.

At the end of the day Eve is about playing with other people and pew pew. Here is a ZERO barrier way for you to try it out. You simply have to show up and you now are playing Eve with other people in a fun area.

I'm kind of sick of hearing about Faction Warfare and RVB - here is an alternative. If you're just spinning your ship at a trade hub in empire, why not find out what the game is really about? Scrapping together a living in the ass end of space, being the underdog, it's a good time.

The threadnaught may be a lazy or unfair way to go about recruiting for the dream, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of people could end having a great time and adding a little content to the game: An independent, nuetral-ish trade hub in Stain.

Will it work? I don't know. Eventually people are going to want to blow everything up that moves. Stain is boring sometimes.

Good luck guys.

Needs more charisma and less drivel. This is the forum alt, deal with it.
The e-honore talk is going to lead to a meltdown, i've seen it before.
You're trying to lure people out to your captive market, when people with some insight say anything they get a wall of backchat.
You do understand you have self-defeat written all over you right?

If you say so forum alt of some person who cannot be judged on his knowledge of the game because he hides it, so how do we know whether you have the knowledge to make the statements and assessments you do.

Do you often get into disagreements with people who know what they're on about and overheat the personal stuff?
Because that can cost ya. Or has that happened before?

Did I say you were ignorant, nope, however what you said there ignores one of my earlier replies where I spelt out the differences between Stain and Syndicate, but then again you could be being ignorant towards me by talking over me.

I am saying you are making judgments on an alt toon, so no one can see whether your statements have value or not, so who are you to say this will fail or not, you are a faceless alt pushing an agenda, nothing more!

I've got your number. hehe. My replies to you will be limited and I will use my precious time to respond to people who are interested in contributing to this epic adventure.

We are expecting the arrival of an amazing Eve player possibly next week who most of you should know, I will keep you in suspense and I will tell you this: the amazing Eve player coming down changes everything and I am very happy to welcome him. I always knew I was onto a good thing with this venture and finally my dream seems to be turning into a reality.

Again, I would like to thank Dracvlad and all the other guys who have come here for making this possible, It is actually you guys that deserve most of the credit and it is an honor to be working with you.

I'd like to make a toast to our success so far, we have reached the stage where we have a group of guys that can start building an infrastructure that will make it easier for the next group of brave pilots . Here's to the future success of Hub Zero.
