Omnidirectional tracking links don't do a thing when active?

I set my omnidirectional tracking links to auto-repeat and activate them, but it seems to have no effect on my sentries at all. Now, I'm aware they got changed in 1.1 of course, that's why they're active, but they should be buffing my drones, which they're not. Am I being stupid or something?

You can't see the changes in drone stats by checking info on them but they do work, just realise that the bonuses (when not using scripts) are heavily nerfed so you might not be getting the optimals you think you should.

Is there any way to actually check how far my drones can fire, then?

Other than calculating, using EFT or empirical evidence, no.
