Pretty much this. I want to see the clothing become content. Make it manufacturable, make it lootable, etc. And for Gods sake release the other 150 or so clothing items that are just sitting there doing nothing.

It never WAS that bad. The rage was caused by two things, neither one of which was the mere fact of selling cosmetic stuff.

1. The leaked report discussing selling gameplay upgrades, like ammo, if NEX was successful.
2. We waited YEARS, endured bugs and balance and core gameplay being ignored for how long, for THIS?
2a. And a shirt costs HOW MUCH?

On all those points, I agree heartily. There's no reason not to release existing content though, and maybe even make a bit of new stuff here and there in between other projects. They might make a couple bucks.

Also, I want a hood. Give Amarr females robes.

That costume comes in two pieces: a "shrug" (i.e.: arms and shoulders) with a "coverall" covering the chest, torso and legs. It was available in a range of colours on Singularity, including red, yellow, white, tan and black.

I'm with Tippia on this one: I'd like to see the NeX ****-canned. If CCP wants to have their extra currency ("Aurum") they can add it in as extra currency for the LP stores.

See, that's pretty cool (I think I would look rather fetching in it). The damn thing was done, so why wasn't it bloody released? I could understand if they were saving up clothes for a huge Avatar content related expansion, but lets face it that isn't going to happen. So why isn't this **** getting released?

Honestly the nex store can stay, if ccp wants to have some money made off it, thats fine. But for god sakes, if they sold items at a reasonable price ($1-5 maybe) people would buy it. you could have your $75 monicol, but then you have to have stuff that is dirt cheap. People will easily fork over $100 or more to get a whole crap load of outfits, or accessories. Just keep it out of the main game play, and its not an issue. If i just want to fly around and blow peoples hulls to bits then i can. If i want to dock up, throw $5 at the nex store and buy some random stuff every month that will not effect the main part of eve in anyway i can. Hell, i'll go on a limb and say a lot of people would be ok with selling a rare, shuttle or frig through nex, but not much more then that. It needs ot be as they promised, stuff that will NOT effect game play. Use the money you get form AUR sells to finish walking in stations properly. it can fund it's self.

As a matter of fact the "Aviator" style glasses date from the 40s.

They were worn by fighter pilots, mostly USAAF.

And yes you can still get real Rayban sunglasses in that style. They're timeless.
