How to make 100mil per hour doing L4 missions

Farming all 3 of those missions (and only them) would require you to destroy roughly 45 battleships in an hour, plus their support, not including warp time, for a total tag value (of ALL ships) of about 100m.


You are not doing that in an hour.

Killing an npc battleship takes me 15 seconds if they are under 15 km from my machariel, 18ish seconds i my maelstrom. 45 of them in a mach isn't even 12 minutes on just the battleships (while an MTU gather up the loot).

Heck, Angel extravaganza minus the bonus room is 30 battleships + all the small stuff and i've done 2 of those on less than an hour . People are doing the same thing gimmoe more cynos is doing all over the place.




Using a randomly selected NPC battleship, assuming you shoot pure kinetic (you can't), assuming you shoot pure 100% theoretical DPS (inside falloff you won't), and calculating solely for EHP you get ~18847 against kinetic. To do that in 12s requires your machariel to apply 1570 DPS - an impossible number without shooting Hail (lol even less appropriate damage type), officer gyros, and drones.


This does not even begin to include travel time, lock time, server inefficiences (1s tick), human inefficiency (not resetting modules instantly), nor the myriad of other things which slows you down.


Your Database doesn't even contain the federation Megas one faces in enemies abound which tend to die in 2 1/2 volles (of roughly 8k raw damage per volley...) Ugh

Oh and yeah, Angel Extra 5/5 is usually 40-45 mins including the bonus pocket in a somehow slowish Golem. THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqXvBdAOMfs nightmare took 38 minutes from accepting to dock back up. Considered that the NM is probably one of the WORST CHOICES you can make for AE...

oh, i see what you did. You included the 240 dps from 4x Garde II's with perfect drone skills into the dps of your ship. Not sure if this is completely realistic, as you won't have all your gardes firing away at things because you will have to be MWDing to each group to shoot them.

It's what I use, the guards shoot anything that gets inside 30 km, the auto-cannons reach to 60km so I am not sure what MWD'ing you would need for most missions, but when you do MWD to the target you pop it long before you get there. The MWD is primarily to get off the 'warp in' and get to the next gate.

Focus fire with drones is a drone boat mentality, auto-cannons kill cruisers in two volleys, BS's in 5 or so, Sentries kill approaching frigs pretty fast but if they look like they are getting close, then use a group of guns to finish them off.

Not telling you to go use this, I just know my best time for AE is 17 minutes with one, and 12 minutes with two. Most missions are completed in under 15 minutes.

15 seconds not 12. And thats an average because of npc BS shield and armor boosting chances (which is why I use a neut).


And someone has never heard of +6 and + 7 implants (pashan 4tw). But even without the implants, killing 45 BS doens't take near an hour, even with travel time and killing smaller ships. Farming isn't hard.

I tend to be a cautious yet relaxed mission runner, and yet I don't see numbers over 60mil an hour (ISK only). My LP pool is pretty big right now with over 25mil unspent LP for various factions, so adding those in would probably push me over the top. But I imagine the numbers of 100 mil an hour is probably the upper end of mission running in high sec.

Addendum; If your an astute marketer/industrial in addition to a perfect pilot for your chosen platform I would expect those numbers.

Get a lazy ship like the RS.

Hire a looter / salvager to give you a fat cut.

Use all the extra boring time during the mission to remote trade.

Include all taxes so you are round about 500m ISK.

680m - 500m = 180m

180.000.000 ISK : 54000 LP ~ 3300 ISK/LP

Sure no instant selling like implants but more than 3k ISK


how the heck are these things calculated, none of the isk/lp numbers seem realistic at all on that website

Using a T2 fitted Dominix and blitzing SOE IVs while ignoring loot I can make the 30K LP for an Astero BPC in roughly an hour IF AND ONLY IF I get an amazingly good run of easy blitzable missions. That probably works out at about 80 million for the hour, but my "average" earnings missioning for SOE are more like 50 mill an hour.

I am sure 100 mill in an hour is possible, especially with a blinged up marauder but I doubt very many people consistently pull that as their "average". Perhaps the odd dedicated mission runner with a billion plus faction/deadspace fitted mission ship can manage it consistently, but I doubt its common to make that on a regular basis.

Compare that with incursions where running with a good community with good FC will make you over a 100 mill an hour consistently hour in hour out.

Why bother earning billions of ISK if your not going to spend it on something fun to fly. Don't fly it if you can't afford to lose it, never fly it where the lazy people go or you might as well undock it and hop out of it in front of a station.

If you aren't a complete dope, you don't get ganked. If you had read one of Goldiee's previous post, you will see he gets off the warp-in. There is a reason for that.

thats great if you're running a nullsec plex, but you're gonna have to jump a stargate with that loot pinata sometime.

There's about a dozen way to keep from getting ganked on a gate, and more importantly there are only about 7 high sec gates with full time gank squads watching for loot, don't use those gates unless you bring a little more tank. But most important never run missions full time in one location, change agents once a day at least, do incursions, do PVP, some marketing and industry, but most of all never be where they expect you to be.

And keep a couple hundred bill in the bank so even if they do come for you, you can afford to just smile and move on.
