And I do. They are simply not prone to insulting me outright and being rude like Miss Maria was when I tried to befriend her a while ago. Behind my back or otherwise.

Although I must admit, I was under the impression that she was older at the time, and was choosing to treat her respectfully as a potential friend like I would any other adult. I was considerably new to the Amarr community at the time and was looking to make as many friends as I could. That is simply my nature.

She, however, was incredibly rude and proved to me that she was not mature enough to be treated like an adult. If she is to attend, I shall need a personal guarantee from her guardian or corporation leader that she will behave and will be held accountable if she does not, otherwise she will not be allowed to attend.

I get that too sometimes. However it's more from women than men, strangely. They always seem genuinely shocked when I tell them I don't swing that way.

Anyway, as for Mr Vi...err, Lord Draconis, I can say that the feedback from both my sisters is that he's always been very polite, respectful and dignified in his communications. I trust him enough to take care of Shelby.

True, and this event will have some. Such as alcohol will be order only. No one underage may be allowed to order any alcohol, as other drinks are available. The alcohol content consumption of the guests will be also limited.

To answer your first question, the reason a lot of places have age restriction is typically for legal purposes to not get sued for injuries, etc. There are, of course, many other reasons, it just depends on the place. Clubs and lounges like to maintain a certain level of maturity (and there's also the drinking issue), corporations restrict age based on what ages would likely possess the knowledge they seek (then there's also child-labor laws in some places), so on and so forth.

I don't appreciate what you were insinuating but I'll choose to ignore it.

Ah, alright. I shall attempt to be available, although I may not be because I have some previous commitments. I shall, however, try.

And commenting on my age restrictions, mine are mostly for the well being of the guests, as there is almost no possibility for legal repercussions as I am the Holder of my estate.
