Corporation Dissolve Question...

When you dissolve a corporation, will the name be made available again or will it remain "taken" Question

As soon as the corp is disbanded (as in shows as closed) you can reuse the name.
Should not be any real time delay as far as i know, so you can re create the corp instantly.

The previous owner can re-open them, but I don't think it's completely freed for use. Never actually tried the latter, but the first statement i'm sure of.

Side note: People in EVE Forums actually try to answer the question stated rather than give their opinions and/or rant (as with other MMO's Forums). I'm assuming ALOT of people mistake their opinions as facts. So its quite refreshing to see the question actually being answered with the latter. I'm new to EVE and I'm sure their are trollers in this game as well but so far haven't run into or read other posts with such. But from what I've heard trollers here make other MMOs' trollers look like toddlers xD

I know Band of Brothers the alliance reformed as Band of Brothers the corporation to keep the name from getting snatched up in the waning days of it.

Under Corp name it states that you can reuse the name of a closed corporation Smile
