I do level 4 missions in a dominix with sentry drones

My dps is 516 but I would like it to be more than that. My sentry drone interfacing is 3, drone interfacing is 4, battleships is 3. Besides Battleships 4 and training up for 40+ days on the drone interfacing, is there any other way to get more dps? Currently my gunnery skills aren't enough for large hybrid turrets so, when I can fit two-three large hybrid guns how much dps can I expect from that?

You might get a 100-200 dps out of a few guns.

What you really need is to train your skills. lvl 4's minimum, then lvl 5 sentry drone interfacing and t2 sentries. The BS 5 and Interfacing 5.

Drone Interfacing give 20% more for L5
Domi will give other 20% more for have L5 BS.
Sentry drone Interfacing L5 give even more 10%
long training? yes
but everyone have to do it at some time

I manage to have level 5 BS, Level 5 Cruise and Torp.
and I can drive Golem as well (require AWU L5 which is long enough)

I think doing sentry drones 5 and upgrading to tech 2 sentries would be the biggest improvement. and then drone interfacing 5 after that. BS4 would be fairly quick as well.

also are you using faction sentry drones? I think that will bump you up from t1.

Sentry drone interfacing 5 and Tech 2 sentries gives about 10% more DPS (and better tracking and optimal range) than drone interfacing 5 and faction sentries.

with faction drones and 4 drone damage mods and your skills you do 516dps

Battleship 4 +40 dps

Sentry drone interfacing 4 + 25 dps

Sentry drone interfacing 5 - tech 2 drones +90 dps

Drone interfacing 5 + 70 dps

Battleship 5 +50 dps

Ultimately, you should get around 1000 DPS with very good but not perfect skills (Battleship IV, Large Railgun Spec IV).
This includes 425mm Rails in the top and the lows full of Drone Damage Amplifiers and Mag Field Stabs for good measure.
Tank is shield.

It is a higher level fit, of course and thus requires a certain level of... experience, but it is perfectly possible to break through that magical 1k limit.

I am in the same "boat" as you (see what I did thar)
newer- and in a dominix doing L4's
I jumped to navy wardens, I think they are .096 more on dps but their ARMOR is about twice as much which is great if they have aggro. I haven't lost one yet
keep training.

You can probably train drone interfacing V and sentry V in 20 days each if you fit +4 implants (just the ones you need right now if you can't afford them all) and respec to optimize drone training. Whilst you are it you'll need drone sharp shooting V, and whilst I was respecced for drone training, I'd train heavy drones V too.

I'd train level 4 large hybrid guns, gallente battleship to level 4, and all the gunnery secondaries to level 3, and motion prediction, and upgrades to level 4 before I started on the drone skills, and I'd think about hull V, and the state of your capacitor skills too.

ie its all possible to do about twice as fast as you think it is.
