How do I log onto the Singularity server with my steam account

Hi I cannot log onto the singularity server with my steam account. I've made a copy of my steam eve directory and flipped it so it updates the client with the the test server files and it does that fine, but it keeps asking me for a username and password even thou I'm loading it thru steam using the /server:Singularity in set launcher options in steam properties, steams loads the eve client up fine but it asks me for my username and password, i flip the directories back and log into tranquility and it works fine it. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Do you not need a username and password when you log in with steam? o.O
