Could be that mining is an art form for some, which is to be actively performed - just like transporting for others like me :)

...Oh, wait, we received some nifty little feature making daily life with a freighter easier Bear

Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there for shure.

Imma let you finish, but the Rokh is the best mining combat ship of all time. Cool

750 m3 per minute is an interesting number. My main mining character is near full skills. She mines 1867 m3 per cycle when boosted by a skilled Orca pilot. That works out to more than 41 m3.sec with the 133 second cycle time the Orca provides.

Ospreys also get into the 700-750 m3/minute range (using mining drones and Caldari Cruiser V, 600-625 without). They can generally fit about 700-800 m3 of cargo space without being too flimsy.

Biggest issue with the Rokh is the cargo. With (2) MLU2 and (5) T2 mining drones, it pulls about 1200 m3/minute but the cargo bay is only 625 m3. So you have to stagger the strips and move ore every 20-30 seconds. On the upside, you can fit it for about a 175k EHP tank.

On the downside your mining into a can that you are either:
1. Tractoring to an orca every 20-30 seconds
2. Leaving in a can which is easy to steal out of.

On the upside you could mine straight into the Orca's corporate hangar. They don't call them "giant jet cans" for nothing Blink

You'll want to get over this block real fast if you want to succeed in EvE Online. Lol Spreading yourself thin means you'll always be behind everyone else. Spending the time to max out a ship you like to fly and the skills needed to support it will mean you can compete on the same level as pilots who have been around for years - you can't learn all the skills in the game, but you can master all the relevant ones for a few ships in a much shorter amount of time.

I guess it's something for miners.....assuming they want to cut their productivity in half. Lets see....in a Hulk a miner can make a crap living. Crap living / 2 = crappier living. Enjoy folks.

Don't ban me, bro!
