[Rubicon 1.1.] Level 3 Blitzing: 50M+ isk in assets per hour

Once upon a time I wanted to see how much you could make blitzing level 3s.

Since Rubicon 1.1 changed warp speeds, nerfed drone scope rig stacking with Omnis, and nerfed omnidirection tracking links (which nerfed the range on Garde sentries) I re-ran my "Blitz Level 3 Missions in an Ishtar" test.

Here's the googledocs with the data and results: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvCLlTV8bSxNdDM5YWkyTkR1d3hTV29jcGI1UzI5Mnc&usp=sharing

Summary:
You can still generate ~50M isk in assets per hour blitzing level 3s at a 2,000 isk/LP conversion rate.

Random thoughts:
Prior to Rubicon 1.0, I spent 44% of my time traveling. For this run, I only spent 33% of my time traveling. I spent ~1 hour in missions and ~30 minutes traveling.

Average time was 5m3s. Average travel time was 1m41. Average in mission time was 3m22s.

The drone scope rigs were replaced with Warp Speed II rigs and a 10% warp speed implant was used, for a warp speed of 5.67 AU/s. Which is faster than frigates.

Garde range was 58km+23km. The other sentry types had optimals of 100+km. I carried 5 Gardes, 5 Ogres, and 5 of the NPC damage type (e.g. Wardens for Guristas, Curators for Sansha, etc.) This meant that I had to swap out sentries if the mission NPCs spawned > 60km away in a mission.

I used one agent to pull 30 missions. 11 of those missions were declined due to being faction missions, being in low-sec, or being 3+ jumps away. I relied on faction standings to decline multiple missions in a four hour block. Thus 19 missions were actually run. This isn't a large statistical sample.

@0 isk/LP: 20,213,840
@1,000 isk/LP: 37,663,840
@2,000 isk/LP: 55,113,840
@3,000 isk/LP: 72,563,840

How many missions do you think you'll do total ?

Would be interested to see a long sample and the final standings condition.

Ugh. No more. It's too tedious, especially with the whole wait up to 20 minutes to get bounty tick thing.

However, I did add the agent, faction, and corp transactions changes to the "Standings Changes" tab in the spreadsheet. I wouldn't worry about losing standings unless you're declining a lot more missions than you're completing.

As someone who spent the better part of yesterday grinding up standings on two characters for epic arc access, you should understand why I might find this insane. Although it probably hurts a lot less if you're already between -1 and +1 unmodified. What is the size of a faction hit for declining a level 3, and does this also incur derived standings hits? I do appreciate your dedication to the pursuit of knowledge.

Reviewed the spreadsheet. -0.01% for a level 3 decline (faction) isn't bad at all, the corp hit (typically less than 1%) looks like it would also be reversed rather fast. Looks like rapid declines are okay as long as you're not way up in the standings already (I still wouldn't do this on my character with +7.5 unmodified gallente)

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

I think my effective standing (the number that appears next to the agent in the mission window) varied between 7.6 and 8.8 (or maybe 8.3.)

You can always hop on the test server and decline a bunch of missions in a row to get an idea of how many missions you need to decline in a row before losing the agent. I did this a while back, I'll have to see if the transaction data is still there.

Great data. Thanks for including the agent standing data. I see at the end of the original thread I was fretting about wrecking agent standings. Clearly not a problem. This really changes my perception of L3s as an income source. I've recently been running some for standings with a few corps. I'll have to see how a t2 hm tengu stacks up against your fit.

Doing some light research into LP conversion rates using http://lpstock.ru/ (I think Steve Ronuken has a similar tool), the number of items that can actually earn 2k to 3k per LP is not huge. Most of it involves blueprints and actual manufacturing to get the value. Do you do a lot of LP conversions? Is 2k to 3k realistic on a regular basis or should I be ballparking off of 2k at the uppermost?

Check the market history, especially the volume (i.e. how often do items sell.) If an item has a fantastic isk/LP ratio but only sells one or two a month, well...
