Speed Tanking Dreads

Hi there. I've heard a lot about the horrible tracking of Dreads etc. and so was wondering. If you had a carrier, say a Niddy... could you possibly speed tank it to survive Sieging Dreads?

What sort of speed would be required to speed tank a Sieged Dread?
Would speed make any difference at all in defending against a Phoenix (cos of missiles)?
What sort of Transversal speed can current Dreads track?

Thanks

Just moving would have defeated a phoenix.

Most other dreads can damage project out to about 50km. You would need to move out of that range.

On the test server I tested this vs a revelation using a niddy. And you can do it in a close orbit with the standard dual rep armor tank fit.

Pheonix will lose a good amount of damage application.

Nag will tickle you now and again.

Moros will tear your face clean off.

Minmatar....we are generally unpleasant to be around....

If only there there was some eve fitting tool where fits could be theorycrafted and DPS calculated...

Yes its possible.

I have speed tanked a Revelation with a Chimera on the test server and the Chimera won easily.

EFT numbers dont mean a thing.

EFT can not tell you the outcome of any engagement.

EFT numbers actually mean everything except piloting you moron.

Also with the EFT tracking tool you can figure out the speed you would need to speedtank a ships guns soooooo....If OP checked that he'd have his answer.

Your personal ability to click does not increase your transversal beyond what is mathematically possible, which is the question in the OP. Stop being a ****** and realize it's a 2 minute look at some basic numbers, thanks.

Yeah I find that with a couple of nanos and a tracking computer my nano-moros can easily kite a standard fit pheonix.

Half the time the citadell torps form a big cloud behind you like a big cloud of sperm chasing an egg.

It is all very sexual.
