Does anyone have one of the new Mac Pro's and have you tried Eve on it yet?

My 6-core, 16GB RAM, Firefore D500 card, 1TB SSD Mac Pro should be here sometime in the next couple of weeks. I plan to test it both on OS X and in a Bootcamp instance running Windows 7.

Okay... do you think your 6-core, 16GB RAM, Firefore D500 card, 1TB SSD Mac Pro won't be able to handle EVE? Really? but it's a 6-core, 16GB RAM, Firefore D500 card, 1TB SSD Mac Pro! A My 6-core, 16GB RAM, Firefore D500 card, 1TB SSD Mac Pro should be able to play EVE where 6-core, 16GB RAM, Firefore D500 card, 1TB SSD Mac Pro is the top of line computer right now for Macintosh. Come on, it's My 6-core, 16GB RAM, Firefore D500 card, 1TB SSD Mac Pro.

I'm sure it will run fine. That was not my question. I'm looking for someone that has experience at having done so, and thus, has benchmarks. I'm interested in how well it performs.

WHAT MEDICINE? THEY MAKE ME SLEEPY! I need to be awake so I can hear "THEM" coming, they are coming for me, oh I can tell you, "THEY" are coming!! where's my tinfoil hat? Who are you? Why are you talking to me?

Lol. Yeah, so far the black screen only seems to effect the MacBook Pros. The game runs fine on my iMac but unplayable on my mid-2009 MacBook Pro. Yes, EVE is very flexible even my old MacBook Pro can play it. So I kinda having fun with ya, no need to call names. Anyway, good luck with your brand new Mac Pro, I'm sure it will perform famously.

I just got one yesterday. EVE seems to run very well in MacOS. I selected max settings and on Interval One I get a constant 60 fps. This is either fullscreen or windowed. The system does not appear stressed during this. I can't install bootcamp to test it under windows. If you have specific benchmarks you're interested in on the MacOS side, I'll do what I can to help.

Do you run multiple clients? If so do you monitor the heat your machine produces internally? I have a serious concern about getting another iMac and melting video cards running multiple eve clients.
