This made me actually look at his corp. Then I saw he was in the Kadeshi alliance. Those guys usually have my respect, they must be growing soft.

Anyway, care/nullbear miners won't be able to help him with anything, they're too busy trying to figure out how many m3/cycle they get with level 3 vs level 4 rorqual boosts.

Welcome to nullsec kid, the land of HTFU. Read more about how to fit your tengu for better ratting. And yeah, it's not a magical isk fountain out here. But we like it that way.

There is no way a tengu should have died in a gate camp (did you fit right, have cloak and nullified subs etc?). Is there a single other human being in your corp?

my dps was 433dps and my active shield tank ran out in 4 minutes so often I had to warp out, dock up and recharge then come back and continue the fight. Could do 500dps with faction ammo buts that hard to get out in null sec.

You're doing it so wrong it's not even funny. Even with a heavy missile fit you should be doing north of 600 with t1 kinetic missiles. Which you should not be using because you should be using kinetic furies and target painter/rigs/+3 implants. You're in Agnel space i presume?

Don't tell me you rat with your cloaky and nullifier subs on? No station to dock in? Don't know how to use mobile depot? and you tank should be cap stable or near it (because you don't need much because you should be moving, or at range, or both).

You really really really need to talk to the people in your corp man, because, well, just wow.

Well, I would advise you to take it in stride. You've said some really dumb **** since you first started, just brush it off and play your game.

As for the topic, don't try to get your feet wet with an expensive Tengu. Put a toe in, get a Thrasher with some arty or something, find someone else's bubble, and camp it for a little while.

Nobody started out as an expert on nullsec, they all learned through trial and error.

this is the kill when it got blown up as I was moving stuff away from base. Replace the cloak and nullifier subsystems with the accelerated ejection subsystem and a fuel catalyst. Add on an extra ballistic system and another launcher

Really you came to the forums for help and confidence damn man you really are lost. The forums are built around bashing other pilots. If you wanted help ask your corp. If they dont want to help then shoot them when they least expect it. A bit of advice inregards to the forums, Dont post if you cant take the insults and honestly if your that thin skinned Eve is not the game for you imo.

This is the EVE forums, a place occupied by spreadsheet neckbeards with little to say outside of bashing a players ship choice and/or fitting or playstyle. Do not expect any sort of sympathy, useful comments or friendliness.

That said, dipping your toe into low/null sec is probably best not done in an expensive ship with expensive implants. The old EVE saying goes "Don't fly anything you can't afford to lose".

That is one of the most useful tips I have seen in the forums. The other one was that you could replace 95% of the posts here with "Everyone's and idiot except me" and "Your fit makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a mellon baller."

Paul Otichodo,

If I were you, I'd biomass your character and start new. Then proceed to not make posts like this on your main account. The way this forum works, you've done yourself no favors making complain posts especially about failing, dying and worst yet: Flying 600m ISK fits.

Seriously, that gate camp was probably set up just for you Blink

ok then how bad is the fit? I can't use tech 2 missiles so I had to do with what I had.

As an extension of the monkey sh|t fight that happens in-game, the EVEO forums are simply a mirror of the derping, trolling, ganking, CCP-taint-licking, retards, pirates and naer-do-wells found in game.

In short, you got forum ganked. Cloak up and just lurk, fit a thicker tank, or gank someone else and share the love.

So I finally moved after a lot of suggestions to null sec to see what it was like and how you could make so much ISK there

I join up the night before B-R5RB happens and within days the entire area is fleeing to the north to escape CFC and RUS so my run of bad luck in corps might be turning into a curse.

I've discovered my 600m ISK tengu can't do the local anomalies and so I'm stuck with 13m ISK an hour belt ratting. And most of the exploration sites are beyond my skills, both in terms of the combat ones and the data/relic ones.

been forced to move away from the caldari ship branch towards armour tanked gallente and amarr ships, still with about 52 days before I can fly the alliance main doctrine.

Lost above 600m ISK tengu to a gate camp and my 50m ISK pod to a bubble camp and more generally been annoyed by people leaving bubbles at gates for no reason.

deal with a crappy local market and having to move stuff around via courier jump freighter from high sec

But in general I feel pretty much surplus to events and rather lost.

Is this what's most people's first 10 days in null sec are like or have I just had very bad luck?

Fit your Tengu with the correct sub-systems and you're pretty much untouchable in 0.0. And this is the story for a lot of people who venture into 0.0. Was for me, then I learned, and haven't had many problems since.

There are people on this forum who will specifically attempt to harass you simply because you have asked for noob-like assistance in threads that became rather popular. On top of that you have informed the general public that you fly around in Tengus valued at a price that indicates you are fitting faction/deadspace modules.

This is a no-no. The best lesson you'll read from any of these threads is this: Stop posting anything on your main that gives people a reason to come after you. I used to run a 6-man Retriever fleet. Any time I had something to ask about it, I posted with a FORUM ALT. This way, I didn't have legions of EVE-O trolls ganking my 6-man Retriever fleet.

I haven't actually looked at the fit, as I believe the point I'm making above is more important. You're shooting yourself in the foot with these posts, and it will one day come back to haunt you if you keep at it consistently.

When moving, fit warp core stabs, DC and BCUs do you no good.

As for the ratting , it's worse than i thought (with that low dps I would ahve sworn you were using Heavy missiles). 433 dps with heavy assault launchers means your skills aren't up to par. You can get 900+ with tech 2 HAMs .

Like I said, you are too impatient, getting things right takes time, you'd be better of doing anoms at range in a tech 2 cruise raven with a medium shield booster cap stable.

As for ammo (or even such a raven), you should be having corp mates with carriers move stuff for you, that's the whole reason for being in a corp.

SLOW DOWN, think things through 1st. You tend to be your own worst enemy
