When Eve does any changes, its always adding few New items, altering ships or doing something minor With overview ect ect. Its never any really big changes, somnething that would shake the univers up.

So to make it short; Why doesnt Eve make any really big fun changes?

Because Eve players tend to shoot innocent statues in Jita when CCP announces big new features Blink

The latest expansions where mostly about massive bugfixes and revisions of existing game features. And that was a good thing, eve is in a much better shape than some years ago and the to-do-list is still long (UI, Sov mechanics, Ship tiericide, Pos'es, etc.).

The next "Jesus-Feature" you're looking for will perhaps be the announced Stargate construction by players. But that will take a while

The butterfly effect isn't just something that happens in game between players. Developers have to be careful of changes as even a small change can have a huge impact on the game. Make a large change and it is very likely that unforeseen problems arise and break the game play state.

And they do make big changes. See Wormholes...

"you have to make them yourself "

->Which often leads to Concord getting u. Or when posting in Ideas and features, ignored until u give up.

"And they do make big changes. See Wormholes..."

-> Cant see any really big changes.... and wormhole aint that impressiv.

"Just wait. You'll see."

->ive been waiting along time, others have been waiting much longer than me and they have lost their faith.

"Because Eve players tend to shoot innocent statues in Jita when CCP announces big new features"

-> Of course People will b!tch, one of the fun features of humans, Some will always complain, they dont like changes.

There have been lots of big fun changes, you just haven't been aroiund to remember them,

Battleships (they we so big and awesome in the day)
Ships bigger then battleships (A carrier was WOW, now titans are eh)
Warp to 0 (not so much for gatecampers)
T2 blueprint lottery (If you were a winner)
Learning skill removal (Millions of SP to reallocate for those that invested to level V)

Aint that impressive? They added 1500ish systems, that can only be accessed through scanned down wormholes, with NPCs that have AI, and you aren't impressed?

Please, enlighten us with what you think a big change is? Because 10 years and 20 expansions have brought a lot of big changes.

Oh, CCP do a lot of fun changes all time.

The last one was to reduce warp speed of Orca, Battleships, Battlecruisers from 3.0 to 2.0/2.5.
This 30%! speed reduction (BS) really take a lot of fun away if flying BS and BC.
'Great' fun changes like this happen all along.

1500... and most have been settled or have traces of human settlement. What about adding a New Galaxy With New races?
Or expand the Galaxy With 50000 New systems, not even named, where players need to explore and give name to.

Eve online only provides you with tools. Its up to you to use them to make content.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

As a paying member of Eve, we should have much more impact on what will be the New changes, not them making rules and tools for us make Our own fun. We pay for Eve giving us the fun we expect to get for our Investment.

U might have a point, but in the beginning, the game was fun and exiting... but with lack of changes, u have the right to ask questions, Say u rent a car for 5 years, u have the same car. Ur friend also rent, but get a new car every year. U both pay for it.... but does it feel right?
