Suspect upon entering someone's mission (illegally)

If someone enters your mission uninvited in highsec they should become suspect.
this could be explained from an RP standpoint like this:
"I want you to do this mission, shoot anything that moves, we'll take care of concord" (mission agent)
It's very annoying to see all these ninjas everywhere in missions without repercussions for them.

It's an open world, why should anyone be restricted when it comes to where they can and can't go?

If you're gonna post here thinking your idea is the greatest thing since bacon and that it will save EVE and possibly all humankind with it, you're gonna have a bad time.

So you want someone to turn suspect for simply being in the same part of space as you?

Not going to happen.

If you really want this, go to low sec to run your missions. Oh wait, you want to be able to shoot people if you choose to, but you don't want them to have the ability to shoot you.

Don't mission alone.

Its an odd concept because everybody wants to solo in a MMO...

This is where you're wrong. You are blowing up spaceships and creating spacefilth. You should be penalized and have to pay a sum of isk to whoever cleans up the mess left behind after your disgusting habbit. If your wallet does not cover the amount you should pay to the salvager you should go global suspect.

Complete missions faster and ninjas wont be able to scan you down. Problem solved.

Didnt we just have this thread, detailing how bad this would be for missioners, how good for pirates, and in general how poor an idea this was?

It got locked because no one that supported the idea could actually discuss it, instead churning out page after page of rhetoric and political double speak any time they were questioned on even the most basic parts of the idea.

-change mission area
-use smaller ship (tech 3)
-just ignore the parasites
-Mobile tractor so you can grab loot and they can pick the bones of the wrecks

the thing that fscking ninjas use to scan you down with is combat probes iirc so they will home in on drones and wrecks.

I do agree with the idea. Do keep in mind though that 99,9% of all high-sec mission runners will not carry warp scrams, so whomever enters your mission will be able to leave anyway the moment you shoot at them.

It does however still make sense to atleast be allowed to defend yourself.

No, thread was recently created/flamed (because it's a terrible idea) and eventually locked. BTW here it is, ib4l for duplicate.

So what happens when I invite a noob into my fleet, make him warp to me, and drop fleet with him. Free kills =)

Easiest way to deal with ninjas: turn your loot blue. Most of the time they are looking for ganking opportunities by getting you to shoot them. If they are there to grief you by taking your mission drop (that should be something that never turns blue) you should position yourself as close to where the drop will take place as possible. Oh, and thanks to the new targeting mechanics, there is nothing quite like watching the ninja run off because their frigate is being smacked about by the rats.

This can become a subject that leads to new forms of player abuse: someone asks you for help for their mission, you accept and warp to the mission, they then kick you out of the fleet causing you to flag and giving them unfettered rights to gank you.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Also no. That space is NOT yours. It also breaks the salvaging mini profession.

If you're not shooting flashy yellow thieves NOW, you're not going to shoot them LATER. I cordially invite you to shoot flashies in your pimp fit mission ship. The economy can always use some more creative destruction.
