I don't really like those fitting rigs on fit you linked so I would like to propose some alternative.

With my skills (gal BS V, maxed sentries, you can check link in my sig for details) this does 700 dps with bouncers at optimal of 150km, obviously setup for dualboxing I did in null anoms so you would have to change armor RR and cap transmitter to something useful in solo PVE (I guess hisec missions are your goal so probably one gun for taking aggro and maybe auto target thingy for more locks on rats?). And of course tanking lows have to be changed to incoming damage type depending on what rats you are going against. 2xsebo boost locking range and scan res you can customize with scripts to your needs.

There is no way anything in highsec L4s could be a threat, just MJD away and blap everything.

Drone Link Augmentor I
Large Remote Armor Repairer II

Large Ionic Field Projector I
Large Drone Control Range Augmentor I
Large Egress Port Maximizer I

Bouncer II x5
Warrior II x5

Put it in your EveMon and check how skill plan for it looks like against what you have now. You won't avoid maxing sentries and gal BS because this is what gives most of dps but maybe you can save time on training those large hybrids that you don't really need if you snipe with sentries, small drones can always deal with frigs and you can field a lot of them.

Thanks, I think that's a very nice feedback. It helps me alot..!

A few small questions:
-Can MJD not be disrupted by some warp scrambler drones? Sry I am not at a battleship yet :)

-What is dualboxing? I think i need to know that to understand that Armor RR and Cap Transmitor will be removed.

-"2xsebo boost locking range and scan res you can customize with scripts to your needs." So I could keep those, and just alter scripts?

-"so probably one gun for taking aggro" Would that be a Large Hybrid Turret? Or would a Medium Rail gun be sufficient to pull that ranged aggro? Would safe me 4 days.

-DDA II - I read some comments in those builds (that I linked to on battleclinic) and some said, that 4 DDA II have a very strong penalty, the 4th one had a very low effect, or is there simply nothing better?

Scram is shutting down MJD, disruptor doesn't. I think mission rats use disruptors so you should be safe but I'm not 100% sure about it so you should check that out.

Dualboxing is basically running two Eve clients and (usually) doing same thing with 2 characters. I was running anomalies with 2 domis so each of them had other locked and RR modules ready to activate if needed. So it looked like this: one character creates fleet with other, undock, character in charge of fleet warps both ships to anomaly at 100km, each domi drops sentries and locks the other. And then you just start locking rats and press F on both clients because it is so much faster than waiting for automatic aggro kick in.

Since I was running duo of RR domis I didn't need local tank on those ships because if damage started to run into armor I was just simply starting remote repper on other domi and cap transfer on damaged domi. This way my damage was easily repped and repping domi had enough cap for running that repper continously if needed. It was never needed because with my skills you have 1400 dps and there is no way things can survive very long especially when you can dish that damage at 150+ km.

So, for solo you would need to remove armor RR and cap transfer from hights, switch EANMs and that explosive hardener to local repper and hardeners for damage type of rats you are fighting and probably take 1 sebo out and put cap booster in there. In hisec L4s there is no rush so few seconds of longer locking is not a big deal.

Yes, there is a penalty on 4th DDA and because of that it gives only 28% of bonus. But it is still 28% of DPS more than without it and I preferred to have max dps. It is very much possible that those 4 DDAs are not possible to fit with local reps so you will have to play around with it and see for yourself.

My fit was working great for my needs and I just posted it as an idea for you to consider. But homework of checking things out and final decision about fit you will use is yours.

Of course, thanks for the suggestion. I considered the weapon removal, it was a good idea :)

ONe question came up when I edited my skillbuild,
Quote:
so probably one gun for taking aggro
- Would that be a Large Hybrid Turret? Or would a Medium Rail gun be sufficient to pull that ranged aggro? Would safe me 4 days. Or I'd go a larger way for Medium (or Large?) Artillery Cannons because of their big accuracy falloff range to pull aggro.
Edit after next answer: If some one has the same question: Here I found confirmation: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=219276

ps: that can be a question to anyone, I guess.

I think you can even use civil gun for pulling aggro :) You don't have to actually hit anything, what matters is just a fact of activating gun on locked rat. At least I think it works this way, I never bothered to do it myself, I prefer brut force and actually killing whatever my guns point at :)

If I were doing a six month plan I'd go T3 cruiser or HAC before battleship.

For a simple reason. Support skills. No one like training them but you need them so get them out of the way sooner than later.

Instead of heavy drones and large guns you can be training drone and gunnery supports.(unless HAC then sentry drones over heavies) On top of that Gallente need great nav skills as you'll be using blasters rather than rails. You'll want your engineering skills as high as you can get as well.

Smaller ships with solid skills are far more deadly than larger ships not well trained for. Faster, more maneuverable and more versatile as well.

I know it's not really the opinion you were after, but I thought I'd throw it in here for your consideration. There is nothing at all wrong with a Domi but I just think there are better options on a six month plan. Plenty will disagree with me but that's the nature of the game.

Thanks.

Do I not have all support skills? Actually I believe in support skills, I tried to train almost all before getting into the BS only-skills.
I will consider your suggestion and look if I can find more support skills to train first.

I like the HAC. And which one is the "T3 Cruiser"?

ps: thx to you
considered and decided: Evasive Maneuvering V (before BS)
considered and decided: Repair Systems V (before BS)

T3 would be loki, proteus, tengu or legion. Since L4s are mostly about rats at long ranges you would either burn to them to get into your weapons range or use long range weapons. Small signature of cruiser and tank abilities equal of BS class makes T3 cruisers very capable of doing L4s but they suffer from damage application at long ranges except tengu and proteus with senties. On the other hand your speed will allow you to close distances pretty fast and dealing with small stuff like elite frigs won't be a problem either.

I was running L4s in tengu and most annoying thing was waiting for missiles to hit targets. With guns you have instant damage assuming you can track fast moving things but usually ranges are shorter than missiles. So basically whatever you will choose you will have to weight pros and cons and deal with consequences of your choices.

Also keep in mind that t1 BS like domi is far less probable gank target than T3 cruiser. And if they will come to gank you you will lose your ship no matter what you have on it. Hisec ganks are all about huge instant damage because they have usually only one shot before CONCORD explodes them. So they will scan you and will bring enough catalysts or thrashers to instapop you. But nobody is going after plain cheap t1 BS fitted with t2 mods, that is neither shiny killmail nor shiny loot to be dropped.
