Eve under Wine with graphics problems 1.1.4 patch

The new patch released today 2-4-2014 produced a weird graphical problem with Eve under wine (at least with an Nvidia Card). You can see the problem in the following video which was NOT made by me:

I hope you can fix it, its unplayable like that under linux at least (the only way i have to play it). Greetings

Ugh, I'm having the same issue as well (Ubuntu/Debian with wine-1.7.1 and 1.7.11, NVIDIA graphics). Ugh

Looks like an issue with certain elements of the UI. The character customization window tiles the background with a bunch of random images from the character customization UI, lol.

I looked at the patch notes, but nothing seemed to pop out as the source of the problem. Switching the d3dx9_43 and d3dx9 DLLs between native and builtin didn't help either, and unfortunately I have better things to do than spend all evening fighting with this.
