I'm relatively new to this side of EVE, I'm wondering on the possibility to aquire a 15bil isk loan... while I'd like to keep the details on the usage of the isk to my own, I'm also interested on knowing if there's the possibility to guarantee the payment of the loan with this character. I'd require a CCP Dev to post in here.

Questions:

- Can I put my own character as guarantee of the payment and have CCP verify that the loan is paid ?
- Can CCP actually grant my character to my investor if by the deadline I do not pay the loan?

What I'm trying to do here is guarantee payment, however as you may know:

a) I dont have assets beyond my actuall character to put as collateral
b) I'm new to the "LOANS" side of EVE

The deal is simple 15bill is loan with 20% interest, payable within 1 month after loan is issued putting my character as collateral (still need CCP confirmation)

I'd like to keep the details on the expenses hidden, but willing to create a corporation and allowing auditing on it as "holder" of the dividends while the loan is paid (Depositing a daily amount of isk in it)

I'm online if anyone is interested on chatting about it

Thanks for your time

The answer to your questions is no.

Also, 15B at 20% is literally unheard of. Second, no one will give you isk without knowing what you plan to do with it.
Make a business plan, post it, and look at previous bond information for good ROI.

Also, without previous lending history, no one would give you a 15B bond, you will need to do much smaller bonds to begin with to earn a sense of trust.

Well, as of the business plan, as I mentioned i'd like to keep it to my own, unfortunatelly the niche I found might be exponetially abused by actual players that do have the isk to invest, therefore making the potential profit lower due to supply and demand margins.

While I now know that I cannot put my character as guarantee it becomes obvious that my potential bussiness might not work out; However what I could do and its in my opinion a legit way to acquire the loan is "selling my character" for 16bill (including transfer fee) to whoever is going to loan me the isk with the condition that he sells it back to me after I "pay off the loan" Obviously I'll pay the transfer fee back to my account;

That means that the "buyer" needs to estipulate and actually guarantee the reselling of the character to me.

Will that be a way to acquire the loan?
Will someone be interested on doing so?

I guarantee that of the 100k people who play EVE regularly (have to make room for the alts, eh?), you are not the only one to have found your "niche." It might be a relatively untapped market, but business plans in this game are rarely original. That being said, it might just be easier selling the character to someone from whom you would be able to buy it back, e.g. a corp mate or someone. Not trying to be mean or knock you down, but trust is a hard commodity to come by, and when it comes to character trades CCP is very strict.

Also how do we know that your character is worth 15B? I assume that when you say you are handing out your character as a "collateral," your character's approximate worth is close to 15B? Didn't you say that you are new to EVE though? I don't understand how you can request a 15B loan and have a worthless character as a collateral?

Even if the OP offers 50% interest, a sound investor would not invest in this ill-devised fund.

I would suggest you to read more carefully the OP...

a) I said "I'm new to THIS SIDE" of eve (aka loans and bonds)
b) There's an eveboard link for you, read above

So please, go troll somewhere else kkthxbai

57M character? It's not even remotely close to 15B worth.

CCP devs have better things to do than providing a third party service for this ill-devised investment.

If you don't need the character for your business, you could use a mutually trusted third party to hold the character and additional two PLEXes for the transfer fee through the duration of the loan.

This is a good point, you sort of wipe ot the value of the interest due to the need for 900M isk in plexs to transfer one way and another 900M isk in plexs to transfer back.

Plus I'm not sure it's worth the 15B in the first place.

The actuall ROI of the bussiness im planning on undergoing makes up for paying both trasfers on my own (to the third party and from the third party)

however, this thread is pretty much done with already, i decided selling my character, and using that isk on my plan, will then later try to contact the new owner and "bribe" him to sell it back to me... or just buy another one... ty all for your posts, your trolls and what not
