Simpy turning off anti-aliasing has had me crash free for the last couple days on my 7850.

Don't rule out the Nvidia chipset. I get crashes on two machines running Nvidia video cards.
All temp fixes will help limit the crashes, but the crashes will still happen.

Here is how to crash a Nvidia video card. Warp between points about 20 times, never fails. I can crash it with as few as three warps sometimes.

This has also worked for me and kept the game playable on my 6870. Can't wait for the patch, because I do notice AA being off Straight

Every time i warp to a POS my amd graphics drivers crash constantly to the point where i had to restart my computer.. i've only experienced it warping to a POS so far nowhere else but not been to any wormholes or anywhere else

have a AMD 5870 graphics card only experiencing this problem with EVE

I had this problem yesterday, crashed 5 times in an hour.

Edit: Setting it to DX9 seems to have fixed this, but i also rolled back my display drivers.

OK, since the patch today its even worse

I still have client crashes and on the top of that whole graphic is messed up (graphic is just jumping, flashing lines across whole screen, ...)

Same here... todays update (4-2-2014) now I have flashing all over the screen.

Radeon HD8800 Mobile v 13.25.18 driver.........

30 mins game and crash again.

Windows 7
ATI Radeon HD 5700, 2 screens
Tried with DX11 graphics settings minimum, turning down to DX9 again...

Haven't tried iMac yet.

It's really time to do something about this. Eve is the only software having problems in my Windows and Mac environments. And I have MANY games and other software installed.

Love the game but this bug is so frustrating...

Confirming that the situation is even worse than before the patch. With DX9 and all those gathered recommendations (AA off, etc,etc) from previous posts, the client dies every 10-30 minutes depending on the amount of warps.

The game is completely unplayable. Software development happens to be a topic I know a lot. It seems that you have a major quality problem at CCP. The customers should not be treated as testers. The crappy patch you tested over the weekend and delayed from Monday to Tuesday, made things even worse.

Still having issues with my stratios flying around a system and then random crash abnormal effect to evefile.exe.. Game crash..

Are you guys sure you fixed the bug?

Six warps around the system to my lurking spots, and then *crash*. Nothing was fixed, apparently. DX-9, turning off a-a, nothing helps.

And so now we head into week two of non-playability.

Hmmm... So you fixed a driver issue that wasn't the issue ?

Congrats CCP...
You had a big influx of new players due to the B-R5 battle and now are going to lose most of them due to game breaking issues.

If it moves.... You obviously didn't kill it the first time.

As we are now entering our second week of not being able to play, is there any talk of compensation being made to the players that are affected by this? I have 2 accounts that I've only been able to set skills on for the last 7 days... Not exactly the "gameplay experience" I pay $15 a month for.

Just updated EVE and logged in via my laptop.
I'm also getting crazy flashy/flickering/streaking graphics.

Laptop is running the Nvidia Optimus crap. It's not a great laptop, and I wouldn't have posted except, it has worked fine through all of this, and now after the patch it's freaking out, and I see others are reporting it as well.

I have not tested this on my ATI GPU desktop at home yet. Will do so after work.

Just like to add that my graphics settings are turned down as far as possible. Always have been, so unfortunately, disabling a few settings isn't going to fix this one.

I was quiet expecting new patch, but this time I must agree. This game is not for free, so as a customer I have rights for compensation.

Play with r9280x\dx 11.

With enabled HDR system crashed after one minute of gameplay. Now try with disabled HDR, 30 minutes and it still working. But i think, we paid for the game, not for "exciting" searching for correct settings

Before today, i crashed everytime the forcefield of a POS would load up on my screen, since today, this doesn't happen anymore. I did notice some weird colored semi transparant squares upon undocking.

No crashes so far, so for me it's an improvement, but not perfect yet.

Crashing on both my clients when I have AA enabled and approach a POS(especially annoying when I log off at a POS). Seems to run without any issues now that I switched to DX9
