Besides, those videos of them going all slow and softly touching the things makes me scream internally, it's like someone going "i'm not poking you". It takes the person 4 minutes to get the plastic off the thing.

With goons the rabbit hole is pretty shallow. Self loathing nerds who happen to hate and make fun of other nerds. This is different from the nearly endless depths of ASMR creepiness.

Admittedly nothing Dolan posted is that over the top but there's some really, really creepy ASMR stuff out there and there's some indication it's even a sexual fetish for a lot of people, which is weird, funny, creepy, and definitely worthy of scorn.

It sounds like a reboot of the new age stuff about the alpha waves, they even made a game in the 90' about it (I feel old now).

The only appeal I get from this occurrence is when it happens in the real world from non planned interactions. Intentionally creating the sensation basically ruins it for me.

When I first started the intro music at log in, Aura's voice and the 'EvE Experience' definitely created the tingles when I would log in. Then I started reading General Discussion and it was lost UghLol
