Militia pilots are going to love this change.

We generate huge amounts of LP but only for 1 faction. Atm Amarr LP aren't worth much because we just regained tier 3 after just a short break from t5, and the thought that null sec guys will be capable of making the matter even worse is just plain scarry. They will also be given immunity to LP conversion changes, because they will be able to change the faction they get LPs from instantly.

I cannot look at this and not see a militia nerf.

No we won't. Because no matter how much those ESS produce, we can make more; and FW LP store is still cheaper than regular Empire Navy LP store.

While you make a good point about FW always having cheaper access, more LP, no matter how it is created and applied, will drive down the value of it.
Simple law of supply and demand.

Plus, FW makes almost all of its ISK from LP.

As far as I can see, this does not end well for anyone, except, of course, the null sec people it was gifted to.

I see that Navy Slicers are already down to less than 11 million.
I have not looked at big ticket items like +5 implants, but I can't imagine those prices won't start dropping soon, since the null sec peace dividend will kick in soon.
