Sounds more like a local issue rather than game.

Can you alt+tab? or ctrl+alt+del?

On the start menu can you click start and type Eventvwr and open it, check the Application and system event logs for any crtical errors or EVE application errrors.

What are your system specs? is this a laptop or desktop? Mac or windows?

Is this isolated to EVE or other games also?.

Also what graphic settings are you using, all high? medium? low? What resolution. Will this happen while running in windowed?

Maybe you're getting podded? Lol

But in all seriousness, I think this is the wrong place for this type of topic.

I suggest you do a thorough search of the Issues, Workarounds & Localization forum to see if anyone has experienced similar problems. Try any possible solutions you may find there.

If it's still not working, and you are reasonably certain it's not a problem on your end (overheating or burnt-out video card, faulty motherboard, outdated drivers, etc.), then I suggest you file a bug report and describe in great detail how and when the problem occurs, what exactly you are doing, your graphics settings, your hardware, and so on. Maybe it's a new issue that you have just discovered, and it's possible it needs to be fixed by patching the game for compatibility with your hardware and / or software, or patching drivers (CCP working with nvidia / AMD) for compatibility with the game.

Alternatively, you could try filing a petition. But most likely any game master response will either be a) it's a known issue with a known solution, which will be information already available to you on the forum, b) it's a known issue with no known solution, in which case you just have to wait for them to fix it, or c) it's not a known issue, and you should file a bug report.

Yes, happens to me too sometimes. During dual boxing, one screen went white, the other did not.
To zoom in at my ship let the screen go back to normal most times.
Happened to me since I started playing. Meanwhile at different computers.

Could not reproduce the problem so far to figure out why this happen sometimes.
But its not a problem of your computer system, graphics card or driver or other things.
Its just a problem of EvE, because never had this in other games in the past. And happend on different hardware I used.

Cool mate, its is EVE so, and the links provided by others confirm it as such. Very strange bug. I have not encountered this myself yet but i will try to replicate this when i'm home from work.

I've had this same problem, but the screen goes black instead of white. I noticed that removing the whole folder of stuff fixed it, but instead of deleting the 60k+ folder and losing all my settings, I decided to try and narrow it down. After about an hour, I did have some success.

Users/username/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility/settings/core_public__.dat

That is the only file that I had to delete. Seems the core_public__.dat file becomes corrupted for some reason, causing your screen to display as blank white or black while the client runs perfectly normally. Trash that file and boot the client back up, you should be good to go. Results may vary, talk to your doctor to see if deleting the core_public__.dat file is right for you, etc.

Just a heads up, I recently had an almost identical problem again, and this time it was a different file. Still same basic location, tho.

To fix the issue, remove all the following files (none of them seem to store any settings of any consequence).

Directory:
Users/username/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility/settings/

Files:
core_char__.dat
core_public__.dat
core_public__.yaml
core_user__.dat

Remember to backup anything prior to deleting.
