Whelp, i am at it once more since i once already lost motivation to do this.

But this time around, i feel more motivated, now that i know from a previous experience what i am getting myself into here.

As of right now, i am on the 40th layer of about 240 in total. 60'000 Blocks have been placed thus far, out of about 570'000.

Some might just think "uuuh, aaah" and then question me as to my sanity. As have i and my answer to that is:

"I have been playing eve for years now. But i just can not really appreciate the scale of it. That is why i challenge myself to complete this to really get a feel for myself as to the actual scale of a battleship"

Why Amarr? Because i fly amarr (for now) and to quote Roxx Weltraum from his "Amarr Ships 101" class from E-Uni "It is the most beautiful ship in eve. Get your eyes checked!".

And yes. The entire thing is handbuilt. Apart from moving the engines you can see on the right side of the picture by 1 block each, no use has been made of MCEdit.

Day 11 of the build has started.

Binvox says im on layer 318. Since this started at layer 270 i am 48 layers done of 241 in total.

I am also recording some footage that will be made into a clip (i am thinking around 2-3 minutes long) once i am done with the build. Hoory for lossless recording at 4GB per minute.

I have been distracted with EVE itself, because Rubicon 1.1 or the Nestor to be specific.

Building should resume Early this week (Mon/Tue)

Got a few new layers done. Nothing major, but at least i am back into it.

Picture #1: The red line shows the approximate layer i am working on
Picture #2: Facing forwards towards the ships bow. This is still on a rather low layer (around layer 50)
Picture #3: Facing towards the aft. Left and right are the "auxiliary engines" i guess you'd call them. Those in specific are a bit over halfway done. The black blocks are markers in case i need to count again.
Picture #4: Facing towards the aft of the ship while being as close to the bow as i can to showcase the sheer size. I am still only about 20% done.
Picture #5: Facing the aft. Aux engine to the left, to the right is, i guess whatever is between the auxiliary engines.
