What most people dont realize, is that you CANT actually "rebalance" away from the blob without hard limits that are very against what EVE is about.

Even if theres a ship that is 1% better/more efficient than another, that 1% because EXTREMELY one-sided when both sides field ships in the thousands.

Short of nerfing peoples ability to actually play together, the blob will always win, because as long as ships have stats of any kind, even the slightest difference can explode into "unkillable" levels in groups of 1000+
