Saving Probe Scanner Results?

Whenever I find a site, I lose the results later in my Probe Scanner, and can't warp to them without re-scanning. I want to save the results without actually going to the site and accidentally activating it. I've seen corp members do this where I log on and just see what they've scouted. How do I go about doing that?

Right click, bookmark location.

I've done that before, closed scanner, re-opened, and needed to scan again? I know I could use BM to warp to but it was strange my Probe Scanner screen reset.

Yup, it does that. There's no way to make results persist in the scanner across a session change (docking, leaving system, logging out).

So how is it that when I login, I see scans that I can warp to that someone else completed?

Buh? Either you're seeing corp bookmarks or you're seeing anomalies, which no longer require scanning at all.

You might be thinking of anomalies, which your scanners pick up automatically and never requires you to actively scan them down.

So if I put a bookmark that I make to an anomaly and then put it in corp locations, the probe scanner location will persist?

As clarification, I see cosmic anomaly and signatures when I login, in probe scanner, that I can warp to.

If you bookmark a location of a site you've scanned down, leave the system, and come back then the bookmark will still be in place. However, your actual scan result will be back to a red sphere, not a green flag. To be sure you have the same site you'd technically have to scan again. There's no way to make probe results persistent.

What is persistent are anomalies, as they don't require probes at all. They show as green, warpable flags even before you scan.
