The huge battle of B-R5RB featured thousands of players fighting it out. But there were hundreds of thousands more who couldn't participate directly. For many of them (including yours truly!), we relied on the epic stream of one NickFuzzeh4 to entertain us! And boy did he ever.

In this week's Community Spotlight, we check out the awesome work he did.

The scariest is when comms are quiet and he plays the 'Low Hull' audio warning at 100% volume. Twisted

Oh look someone is streaming the B-R fight.....

*click*

.... why is there a dancing skeleton...

*roommate walks in*

"WTF are you watching?!"

The best stream of Eve Online EVER.

*miley cryus' wreaking ball starts playing with all the lyrics replaced by the AIRHORN*

best. stream. ever.

Nice job on the stream layovers, those were quality.

It is however, pretty sad that the biggest battle in EVE needs to resort on airhorns, skeletons and tickers to make a stream interesting. Because the gameplay itself is a bunch of spaceships frozen in time.

Nyjil's corollary to Malcanis' Law:   "Any attempt by CCP to smooth the learning curve of EVE Online will be carried out via the addition of extra factors and 'features' such that there is a net increase in complexity."

Whoever from PLCCP wrote that devblog should get a pat on the back.

Hi5 to Nick as well for keeping the stream going so long. The airhorns kept me awake while we were grinding down the stragglers Cool

Out of the kindness of his heart, Nick shared with all of you a portion of the glory he brings to each and every PL fleet op in his role as Morale Officer. A true Hero of the Legion. :AIRHORN:

Good work Nick_fuzzeh!

I was watching (and listening to overlaid commentary) from the 5 most-viewed twitch streams of B-R I could find and when TMC stopped streaming mid-battle for hours (leaving thousands of viewers on the goon twitch to wonder what was going on) I know a significant number of those thousands migrated over. All 5 of the twitch streams I was watching had 4-digit viewer numbers and one would assume there were more than 5 players streaming the battle.

It would be interesting to know what was the maximum number of concurrent viewers of any EVE Online-related live stream during B-R. It's a number well over 20,000, I'm sure, but how many total? None came close to Nick Fuzzeh's totals though. The number of people asking "What am I watching?" and "Why is this in slow motion?" there was unsurpassed! Lol

I had just gotten off work, logged in, and found scope chat all abuzz over the fight. Googled any twitch feed I could find, and found nicks first. Spent the next six hours switching between him and the Russians while I slowboated in my obelisk
