ETA request or information bout the Minmatar V3 textures ..

like in topic posted. is there any eta or information about the V3 textures on amarr or minmatar ships ?

Not that I'm aware of.

Minmatar ships need remodelling. Not retexturing.

After Gallente and Caldari V3 were done, the art department would focus on Amarr and Minmatar. Something I expect them to be done with at the latest by fanfest in March, should be sooner maybe even late Janauary, since they are awesome! Big smile Which would put it in Crucible 1.X

Then, I hope, they'll focus on doing the capitals for all races to V3 (since the V3 so far only encompases sub-capitals) so we can see awsome trailers where the capitals match the small ships in awesomeness.

What they have said though is that they could do the other objects in space like stations and stuff, when this is done the option to revisit effects like explosions would open up, which at this stage could cast light onto the new V3 for an example or custom logo's on the ships, custom paint jobs.

can a dev approve the eta of the V3 textures of the amarr and minmatar before the fanfest 2012 and not in winter patch ?

Some minmatar ships could use with a polygon upgrade... And a general redesign that made them prettier.

It would make sense to have this come with a patch later on.

Similar to how incursion was done with the character portraits.

If you could undo the changes to the Comet, the Tristan and the Gallente shuttle, that'd be great. :)

the until now first "old" Amarr-ship with new textures is the Impairor

Agreed, the fierce Minmatar's ships' looks don't match their battle prowess, the exeptions are fewCry

I can only dream of the day the Typhoon is no longer a flying dustbin. It is so... absolutely awful.

There was this fan made attempt on Deviant Art, and I would wet myself if it looked anything like this - more akin to the Hurricane and Carriers. This was designed 4 years ago...

Almost every ship in the Minmatar armada needs remodeling, probably the most time consuming of all the races. The Rifter, Hurricane and Maelstrom could just use the regular V3 detail addition Big smile

Rifter should go vertical and stop looking like a pod racer. Hurricane needs some minor changes to stop looking like a star destroyer, and then I agree that the Maelstrom could get by with the V3.
