Hi All,

While reflecting on the past few years of playing this wonderful game, i kept thinking about the EVE gate. About the collapse and the colonization of new Eden. The milky-way must still be alive in some form or another.

It was a joint effort to spread into new territory a collaboration of who knows how many factions or races, the devastation must have affected the home galaxy as it did new Eden?.

I would love to see a sister MMO created, cut from the same cloth as EVE telling the other sides storey. Maybe this tore up relations and fractured the races as it did in new edan.

New races, new ships, new galaxy.

A storey told from the other side. It could work as all new Eden tech is based off of what was left behind one the gate closed so the divide would not be insurmountable.

I think the possibilities would be fantastic. Down the line an event which re-activates the eve gate and allows the traversing of both sides more WH space more Null sec, new corps Tech, new ships.

everything running in parallel and one day maybe the merging of these worlds.

Its a pipe dream but its one i would happily pay to play.

Just a thought.

I like to hear any theories or input anyone has on this as if nothing else its a damn cool topic.

So you want them to make another EVE size server. Then eventually merge the two? There's a word for what happens next, perhaps you've heard it before.

I would never complain about a new space MMO being added to the scene.

But CCP might be shooting themselves in the foot if they did what you describe. They haven't got a huge player base as it is and I doubt it would attract new players. Just split the current ones into two servers.

Hah, Maybe merge them, but yeah i would love if they did it. I think it would be fantastic talking what they learned from Eve and applying it from the get go in a new galaxy.

The merge could be even 5-10 years RT after launch from now but i think the new game would be amazing, the lore the conquest of new territory and corporation building.

Hmmm yes that is a valid point right there. Maybe there is a way to make it work in the current cluster a new faction and new area within new Eden. A colony that survived the gate collapse, one that still adhered to the old ways used and developed the old tech. One that still searches for a way home with no ties to the factions we know.

Maybe even hostile towards everyone and making a move to take territory and technology to allow the repair of the gate to bring in reinforcements, something new eden may not want and will actively try to prevent.

Let me know when your new game releases. I'd be happy to give it a shot. Oh, and if you need beta testers, allow me to volunteer. I love it when people have ideas! Or...did you want someone ELSE to gather the few millions of dollars, buy the hardware, incur the difficulties of hiring and maintaining a staff so....YOU can just toss down $15 a month and ENJOY yourself?

Things get complicated fast.

Not a problem. Blizzard/Ubisoft/EA consumed the Milky Way galaxy, which is why the people who emigrated through the EVE gate left the Milky Way and colonized Eve with a cold and harsh nature. Different galaxies for different folks.

Now if the EVE Gate reopened thus igniting conflict between the two galaxies, The World of Madden's Creed 23351 (the ruling empire of the Milky Way) may have a huge population advantage, but given the kind of people who populate EVE, it would probably be a fair fight.

So...you basically want a Star Trek Dark Mirror universe of Eve where toons without goatees and evil eyebrows have them, and all those who have them don't have them, and the women are slaves and/or the men are slaves but at the same time theryre the masters and you can assassinate your CEO to become the CEO and take his woman unless youre a woman in which case his...man? Either way all logos without daggers through them would get them and the ones that have them would have them removed and replaced with sparkly unicorns or something... and then.....
