Edit: Sorry, missed the drones requirement; that is something Drew doesn't have.

I've used him to run missions for me where I'd accept the mission and have Drew complete it. Both in L4s and Faction Epic Arcs. He does them very easily in a Tengu, and they're kind of fun. (Put another way, I don't generally like doing missions but it didn't feel like such a chore with Drew.)

He does have other skills you don't need, but you may be glad he has them at some point, like being able to fly both freighters and jump freighters. Anyway, best of luck to you finding the character that best meets your needs!

Edit: @Soul-On-Ice: "Combat" and "PvE" are not contradictory. Get over yourself, dude. >.>

I have tunnel trained my gunnery into only projectiles (minnie), which I find to be an excellent choice for PvE. I am missing BS V, but I have both gal and minnie BS to IV, which makes me a very good Machariel pilot.
