Carriers are losing their +1 drone per level, and instead get +2 drones per Drone Control?

Yep Looks fine to me... Half's the DPS if your fit with reppers and Drone Link's and if you would like More DPS you have to loose range or rep power.

I realy hope this is a bad joke or something because this will mean carriers are useless in PVP and PVE

As a carrier pilot, they will still be fine for PVP. Its a buff for PVE.

200% bonus = 3 drones per DCU. 5 + 5 X 3 = 20 Fighters with 5 DCU. If you were fitting 3 or more DCU pre-patch this is a straight up buff. it's a nerf to slowcats which was entirely needed, they can't have rep, utility and damage now. Triage is unaffected.


Seems like a good change, the loss of rep bonus from the SC is a bit concerning, I feel for all the aeon pilots out there. Interested as to what the new bridge is.

Seems a pretty reasonable change, whos to say if it will reach TQ in this form though. Sure the source is dodgy, but I have no reason to disbelieve it and I reckon if someone was going to troll they'd go for something more outrageous.

As long as DCU allows controls of more sentries it's a buff for PVE carriers.
