Despite my current personal status, which is questionable at best, I wondered if anyone cared to comment on the fact that Rooks and Kings seem to be the only major force that is not strategically aligned in the current sovereignty wars.

Everyone else seems to be committed.

Are there any other major forces that aren't engaged that people know of?

I ask as an honest observer rather than a smart-ass.

Aaaaaaand relax.

Provi block.

I wouldn't call them a "Major Force" but I would rather go against R&K then Provi.

R&K aren't sov holders (nor, to the best of my knowledge, do they wish to be), why would they be involved in sov wars?

You could say the same thing about any of the corps and alliances living in Syndicate and Curse. Or the Gallente Militia. Or State War Academy.

Every time you post a WiS thread, Hilmar strangles a kitten.

Tell us more about how NPC null-sec isn't part of Sov, Captain Obvious. You goons really are thick.

To OP:

Sadly, I haven't heard of any notable forces besides those who live in the Providence area that haven't aligned themselves to either side.

We're just 20 or occasionally 30 guys (and girls).

Contesting the coalitions for core sov (I don't mean dropping random SBUs in some backwater) would be rather difficult with those numbers, since you need manpower and crucially, man hours. We are one timezone and just a small group.

However, we do remain dedicated to reminding people that anything is possible in Eve, and we continue to target coalition-level operations and main fleets. Sometimes the modern methods we employ to do this (e.g. pipebombing) are fairly extreme but they are effective.

We have a tight focus - when I log in, the first thing I do is look for a 100-200+ man fleet to knock out, by some means or other. Sometimes it's faction BS/triage, sometimes it's newer stuff - but the objectives remain the same.

You can read a bit more about all that in articles like Blaze in the Western Sky.

The other way a small group can influence nullsec sov conflict is via the tactical metagame. It's interesting to see tactics and doctrines adopted and then scaled up to block-level.

So, while the fleets keep swelling and the political entanglements of the empires keep growing, it's still true that Eve is a game where groups of all sizes can exercise their potential, if committed enough.

As much as I hate defending a Goon, sometimes it just needs to happen. It looks like you are a 5 month old toon that hasn't been in a sov nullsec corp/alliance, so let me explain further. NPC nullsec isn't a part of Sov nullsec because . . . well . . . you can't take Sov, as the name suggests. 90% of the alliances living in NPC nullsec aren't a part of the major coalitions, and just like to PvP wherever they please. The OP stated he was asking for alliances that were a major force and weren't aligned with a coalition, and Scatium answered that.

It looks like you didn't train Reading Comprehension or Common Sense to III, so you are no longer able to forum post.

Also not empty quoting. Having been on the wrong end of Maldoror's guns I can confirm it hurts,

Still - I appreciate the literate responses rather than the knee-jerk nonsense.
