Getting odd damage results from sentry drones.

Hello

When mission running I am getting very sporadic damage from my faction Sentry drones( Caldari Navy Wardens).

I am using 2 faction Federation omnidirectional tracking links with tracking speed scrips. The damage when I fire on stationary targets inside optimal range are from 196 all the way to 976 per drone. Why would the damage fluctuate so much when the target is not even moving and has an enormous sig-radius such as a station?

I've seen fluctuations before Rubicon 1.1 with 3 tracking links even on large targets like a POCO. It wasn't as bad as what you're getting but who knows with the crazy 1.1 nerf. I would think every hit on a huge non moving target would be a perfect hit. I don't see how a grazing hit would be possible.

CCP has clearly coded some new form of Jove mathematics into the flight path, tracking, damage, and so on for all weapon types that probably take into account string theory, near gravitational body drag, black matter... We may boldly call it coding bugs, but it's Jove mathematics. We're not meant to understand the math and physics.

Yeah been playing since quantum rise expansion and there are still many mechanical b*gs cough cough... Jove mathematics.

I didn't even know about the nerf until further reading up on sentry drone mechanics. If only I had done more research or known 3 days ago about the nerf. I would have bought a domie instead of a rattlesnake and saved 246 million on a equal dps drone boat. X
