Voices in the station background track not cool

so i heard a womans voice in my ear piece having coffee this morning and searched every tab in my firefox for a source. Then asked my snoring girlfriend if she spoke to me and she grunted. At that point i really questioned if i was loosing it. After hearing it a second time i checked the hallway for any room mates and really freaked out.

the third time i noticed it was similar volume to EVE, obviously the stations have new background tracks. Muted EVE for a good hour, Wow CCP.. what are you trying to do to us dscan makes me paranoid enough Shocked

Was it a Minmatar station? Those are the only ones I've heard them in so far.

Which is annoying. Every station used to have them. I really miss the old chanting in the Amarr stations. It got removed when they updated the interiors. :(

i didn't mind that in the Amarr stations it had atmosphere, i was in a gallente station and its literally haunting and out of the blue.

At least you expect it in stations. Its the creepy and annoying cloaked sounds that I do not like or even understand why they are there.

The undock from that big tall station has some voices that sound like a nazi rally. The incursion background is creepy too.

Somewhat embarrassed to admit that the first time I heard it, it sent a chill up my spine knowing that I was the only one in the house at the time, causing me to do a quick shoulder check to see who the crap was talking to me. Upon realizing it was the result of :CCP: I made some tea, had a cigarette, and returned to regularly scheduled pew pew.

There are no voices. To say there are voices would be to say that eve has sound, and its a long established fact that it doesn't.



Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

A little off topic, but still about eve sounds: Where'd the wheezy ab and wind-up gyro like sound of the mwd go? I kinda liked those. If they want to get rid of a sound, change the laser sound effect. It kinda sounds like several wet pairs of blue jeans slapping a pavement in rapid succession. I'm thinking they could do better than that. Maybe a sizzling electrical like sound since lasers are EM?
