the big question is will all the new cfc renters stay in thier former space and accept the dystopian renting rules of the CFC (the real reason for cfc involement was the Greater western co thingy was a bust and they wanted n3 income stream due to last years tech nerf so they can maintain their blob srp program) or will they pack up and go to high sec to do incursions and missions.

anyone catch the destiny stream? he is that SC2 player who has a rather large following...

well the other day someone suggested he Join Goons... and he was like who are they? someone said ever heard of something awful? He said yeah but did not like them because they seemed like a bunch of elitest...

oh the Irony... SA is literrally the elitest scum they hated all those years ago... they even had to abandon thier montra of low sp and blops to win the day against hi Sp and talent to beat PL and the N3.

Of course they will stay in null.
They went to null, or stayed in null, based on the huge disparity between cfc sov sec income and safety levels compared to anywhere else in the universe. The level of safety constantly increases with the BOTLrd agreement and the end of the war, and the new ESS stats just gave null another big buff in income.

Plus, if any null sec serfs are beginning to chafe at the yoke of the goons, CCP has helped convince them to stay in null with a massive nerf to high sec LP, plus all the other "improvements" being announced in a few months for the summer expansion.

And of course, if that is not enough, goons will soon be starting up an ingame campaign to make high sec players' lives as unpleasant as possible. 30,000 bored and rich sociopaths are a dangerous thing for high sec.

Eve is goons' sandbox, and we are all just playing in it at their leisure.

I'll just leave this here : as if we never heard that line before

Ow renter alliances you say ? Let me give you that one too : guess who started off renting out nullspace and therefore won eve by default ?

Someone with the same narrow minded view like you allready said the same thing ... in 2006 . So since 2006 we haven't had any major fights right ?

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Isn't it all about RMT anyway? The ones who hold 0.0 have a guaranteed income stream, all others pay cash.

What have they broken?

Sod all, if they actually had broken EvE do you think that CCP would just sit there and say "Well done"? CCP can wipe any alliance/corporation or player off the map with one proverbial click of their fingers if they decide that that entity has got too big for it's boots.

I do not know which is sadder, players that think they are actually having any long-term effect on EvE as a game or the fanbois they have following them.

Look, goons have a lot more to do still.
They have to obliterate N3 from the map.
They then have to recruit more renters for that area, though they will likely end up renting back the systems to the people they take them from.

Then, once even the line members are fat and rich enough (Nyx's for everyone?), and more importantly bored enough, they begin their campaign ingame campaign again against high sec. They have pretty much won the out of game campaign, as we have seen with the high sec POCO gift, and seagull's "vision" of the game, so there is little to do there.

But the ingame griefing campaign against high sec has been in a relative lull for a while.
That will be geared up again, very soon, as their is no one left in null to attack.

You forgot the nature preserve.

The what?

We are going to corral all the 'grr goons' people into one area of nullsec and then farm them forever. Our own private game preserve.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise
