Small Rig BPO Sets – All 78 BPOs

Unresearched (if you prefer to do your own research) – 15 million
Perfect ME, zero PE (if build time waste of 4m is not an issue for you) – 25 million
Perfect ME, PE 1 (cuts build time waste by 50%) – 80 million
Perfect ME, PE5 (40 seconds build time waste) – 290 million

Note: Only 12 BPOs need any ME research at all, and they all need ME1

Sure. Taking the Salvage Tackle I BPO as an example, perfect ME for small, medium and large rig BPOs is:

Small Salvage Tackle I - ME0
Medium Salvage Tackle I - ME3
Large Salvage Tackle I - ME18

If you want to check a BPO's perfect ME level, take the largest material quantity on an unresearched BPO, divide by 5.5 for a 10% waste BPO, and ignore the fraction.

So the Large Salvage Tackle I BPO requires 99 fried interface circuits. 99/5.5 = 18. If you research that BPO to ME19, you'll derive no further benefit.

The largest material requirement on the Small Salvage Tackle I BPO is 4, so the BPO will not benefit from any ME research at all.
