What would happen if CCP finally nerfed Nullsec?

I can't help but notice that every time I fly into NullSec through a wormhole, it's usually filled with some Nullbears semi-AFK grinding out the rich and limitless resources. As soon as I appear in Local, they scatter and, either hide, or gather together a large blob.

It seems to me that with Local available, the Nullbears in the "outer regions" have virtually no risk or threat to their wealthy and lazy lifestyle.

Is this the dirty little secret of Eve? That the "End-Game" is really just the providence of the entitled? How the NullSec denizens have the gall to look down on HighSec dwellers I will never understand.

Should CCP nerf Nullsec? Should Local be eliminated to make NullSec more realistic? After all, if the NullSecers are the masters of the universe, why do they need the protective underpants of Local?

We are to assume, therefore, you're out ganking despicable null sec miners because they're probably more lucrative gank targets being in null sec and all, but that pesky local keeps alerting them to your presence, which causes them to take the appropriate defensive actions, and everything would be just fine for YOU if local were not present in null sec...alerting folks to your presence...so they can avoid you ganking them and living off their enterprise....which is a despicable enterprise...but good enough for YOU to spend?

Did I get that right?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

it is working as intended, as you said players form their own police force when someone try to harm them.

You do just same thing in your wormhole.

So what is the part you want to nerf

Thank you for illustrating my point.

Just because you're lactate intolerant doesn't mean we have to ban the cows.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

If local in 0.0 is removed, do we also get other WH features? Like:

- free cynojammer, blocking even covert cynos, regardless of sov level or pos ownership
- the ability to close stargates at will, like collapsing wormholes
- A mass limit on stargates

I for one am impressed at these AFK people reacting instantly to your presence.
Null sec PVE is exactly as hard as PVE in any other sec. (ie idiotically easy)
PVE anywhere isn't endgame.
Why is leaving PVE ships and fetching PVP ships anything but a sensible reaction to a hostile player arriving?
People that don't proactively defend their space get lots of people roaming their space. For evidence of this see almot all renters, and several CFC pets (li3 and SMA would be the standouts for allowing anyone to wander freely around their space).

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

This again, really?

It didn't sit well the first time, so you have to vomit it back up and present for all to see, before going for a second attempt at digestion?

I look forward to the day when I can read a TMC article announcing the end of local chat in nullsec.

I like that nullsec is nullsec and wormhole space is wormhole space. Sure, each could use a few tweaks/changes, but that doesn't mean make one like the other.

Basically this.

You'd have all the resources, players and skills of the nullsec alliances, in highsec, and angry at highsec.

If local were removed from null sec, all the null bears would move to wormholes.

Without local, null sec is more dangerous space than wormhole, considering the force projection mechanics. It is also far less lucrative space.

Funny, people called me tinfoil when I suggested that is exactly what mittens told CCP would happen if they mess with his operations.
Now you guys are openly stating it.

Except I'm not putting on the tinfoil hat.

I'm telling you that's what I think the citizens of nullsec would demand, if people like you ever got your way.

No, they called you tinfoil for suggesting that CCP take orders from mittens.

Pretty much everything thinks that nothing is more likely than that the 0.0 alliances will burn hi-sec if 0.0 gets nerfed yet again.

No we call you tinfoil because you think CCP has been infiltrated and taken over by the illuminati.
