Capital Escalations Down to 600mil

With the recent influx of farmers to wormhole space, change to industry, and the disbanding of T3 based doctrines in nullsec; the price of nano-ribbons and the price of capital escalations have dropped dramatically.

Sitting at a pretty 850mil just a month ago, each escalated site is worth ~600mil at the time of writing.

# Pilots - Completion Time - Isk/hr
4 pilots - 20min - 450mil/hr
4 - 15 - 600
5 - 15 - 480
6 - 15 - 400
7 - 10 - 514
8 - 10 - 450
10 - 10 - 360

I apoligize if I am a bit out of line here. However after all the smug comments you made a day ago about folks crying about PvP, you come in with what I am assuming is a whine cause you are not making as much isk as you were a months go. You kinda leave me wondering what your punch line is?

Honestly I am still kinda new to wormholes but the isk here is much better than anything else I have done. It more than supports the PvP I enjoy.

Only a wormholer could complain about 600 million ISK in 5 minutes. I do love us.

Dude, site escalations were NOT worth 850mil a month ago.
Maybe like, 18 months ago. Nano prices have been below 5mil for a long time now.
Average value of a site has been around 650-700mil for at the very least 6 months, probably more like a year.

sure, occasionally you get the 50 nano site worth 800+ but it's a rare variation, not the norm.

There is no Bob.

Lol.

This has more to do with T3's being garbage and nobody flying them outside of wormholes. Just be glad there are sleeper tags that give guaranteed isk.

Lets see. We used to have the following large uses for T3's:

Wormholes
Tengu/Loki fleets in 0.0
T3 Links
Tengu Mission runners

After meta change in 0.0 and nerfs to heavy missiles as well as T3 warfare links, we now have the following large uses:

Wormholes.

I suspect this is the real issue...

Edit: Also I lol'd at this part:

Seriously? 10 minutes to do a quad escalation with 10 pilots, you need to work on pve m8

Dunno about c5/c6 systems but C4's are heavily farmed now.

I don't believe I was complaining, or whining.

It was more a matter-o-facto post, you should re-read it and tell me at which part I whine or complain about the price dropping.

Most of the ISK in escalations comes from blue loot, otherwise known as sleeper tags. Isk/h is quite fixed in that regard. Escalation battleships drop less nanoribbons than the usual site spawn, so I don't really see a major decrease in ISK/site since more farmers moved to w-space.

Even if you managed to manipulate the t3 market enough to bring nano prices back up to 7 or so million, you still wouldn't get much more than 800M/site on average (about 700 now).

As for ISK/h and all that crap... if you want constant income rat in nullsec or do incursions, escalations can only be done once per day per hole, and you need a decent fleet to do them properly (a.k.a. not in 20min/site). You get to split the juicy loot in a bunch of shares, and ISK/h changes every day - and could get lower than other forms of producing ISK, as well as being more dangerous (depending on where you live, of course). All in all, escalations eventually get as boring as incursions and/or ratting, complaining about ISK/h is pointless, since it's still probably the most ISK/h you'll make, unless you hold ISK for supercap sales and/or rob people and/or scam people. It will also never go below 590M/site since that is how much the blue loot nets you.

Just kinda wondering what your point was in starting this discussion really.

If it is to just inform me I am only making 600 mil in a site, well thanks, but I am able to do simple math on my own. I will say though we have had a few times where we cleared close to 900.

If it was to inform me that I just missed the gravy train by a few months, well I am happy with the results so far. I am able to put in a hour or so a week to afford a few ships to lose that week.

Disclaimer - me talking completely out of my ass on the next part.

The nano price has been around 4 mil for at least 5 months now. I imagine it started to drop around the time a possible t3 rebalance was announced. Once the rebalance hits the prices will either go up again or fall even more due too demand of t3s. Add that to the changes made in the game to make w space more accessible there has been an increase in supply of nano ribbons.

I know nothing about the market so hoarding my nano ribbons until it can be manipulated to bring the price back up is not an option really. So my best idea to solve your problem would be for us to look for a hole with a c4 static and start hunting there.
