Funny, the same trolls saying I'm wrong about this are the same tools saying I was wrong 6 months ago, wrong a year ago, wrong a year and a half ago...

Only turns out I was right about everything, and CCP finally, belatedly, realized that and changed course. If they'd listened to me sooner, many jobs could have been saved.

The EVE economy matters. Otherwise this is just World of Spaceships. Go play on Sisi if you think that's fun.

It's the economy, stupid.

No it's not the economy, it's YOUR vision of the economy and how it should work.

W8 it's a sandbox, I don't give a frack about what you think how game economy should work, what are you going to do about it?

I know, cry a river !!

The only pockets giving PLEX's away hurts is CCP's.

for all you know CCP could have bought the PLEX from the market (with freshly spawned ISK)

This.

CCP has a long track record of contempt for the player-run economy and this is just the latest example. They buy up PLEX/GTC with ISK they magic-created and drive up the grind cost for everybody else.

Spawning **** from nothing is fine on Sisi. If you want to form a fleet on TQ, EARN IT. Or fly blackbirds/ruppies next time.

This is an interesting accusation, though nothing more unless there is some evidence of it happening and CCP being behind it. And no, your distrust is not evidence. While true CCP did mention that they would intervene if plex prices deviated to greatly from what they had envisioned, their outside of the game influences are going the opposite direction. Sure, they could be driving the price up to entice people to buy more plex, but at the same time the ingame prices would lead to reduced amounts traded on the market and potentially lapsed accounts from those who plex regularly. Also offering and more aggressive advertising of plex bundles, as well as giving plex from the buddy system would suggest they want prices of plex down. This recent act contributes, though insignificantly, in that same direction. Either way, the plex should be the least issue since they have the lowest impact on ingame economy since they only transfer isk and don't directly affect player created items.

As far as spawning things, that is what events, and to a greater extent PvE in general are. Even your suggestions fail your own tests. Spawning a navy apoc is no different from spawning ruptures and blackbirds, either way someone who produces that item didn't get to sell it, but at the same time it wouldn't have been sold for that purpose anyway if the event hadn't happened. If your issue is with events that drop loot as a whole, what is the distinction between that and normal PvE? They both create resources out of thin air, just one is based purely on game code, the other involving direct control by devs.

Next time they do it threaten any super cap alliances who decide to drop their cap fleet on them that they will be counter dropping with jovian eidolons that ought to keep them away :)

what u guys need to do is to change it so youre items dont drop when u die and give a boutny to all active accounts because thats the only way we can trust u. have u heard of t20? this looks like exactly the same thing except goons got the loot and here we have an ex-goonie dev defending it

Didnt want to go the tinfoil hat way myself. But that was brought up by some people I was talking too about this. That in the end it just fed their buddies goodies.

Pssst, you are getting trolled.
