I'm looking for a newb friendly corp that's got a good amount of active players at all times (if possible).

What i'm looking for in this game is mining and manufacturing, but mostly mining. I want to know where the best places are to go, and know that I'll have backup. I'm also willing to fetch certain materials and essentially be a gofer, as long as I'm not abused, of course.

I'm willing to learn to be effective in and take part in combat, but I'd prefer to have a more exploratory and mundane experience. Given that I can multitask, doing other things IRL while mining is an easy task. And given that I can load the game up on my laptop, I can make sure I always have the screen on the game to know if I'm being attacked.

All in all, I'm willing to do "missions" for the corporation through mining and such, as long as I'm compensated in some way. And willing to transport goods. I'm doing the tutorial missions right now. I'd be past them, but I downloaded the game via Steam and didn't realize that the Steam FAQ was outdated and that I couldn't use the CD Key method anymore.

One thing to know about me is that I'm a pre-transition (closeted) transwoman. So any kind of homophobic/transphobic or misogynistic remarks will not sit well with me. So if your corp doesn't have an anti-bigotry stance, it's probably not right for me.

School Of Mabon is a player training corp that does a lot of mining Orca support as well as a research POS for members to use

Our group is a young start up (with one LGBT alliance member already with us...) and we're a pretty respectful bunch. Other than jokes, we're open to all walks of life. Our membership, while small, is active and we're increasing our numbers every week. We're a co-op which means we are focus our attention, as a corp, on the individual members, regardless of skill level. (We are very noob friendly btw.)

We offer an Ore Buyback Program, Weekly Mining Ops (although we practically fleet up all time) and offer discount mineral purchases for those big time manufacturing projects you might have. We have logistical support for when you need it!
