I have seen one or two videos on youtube with EVE ships models in the background on a table. Apparently these are about $300 each or were about that price but I can t find anywhere where those are sold.

Does CCP sell ships models? I d love to buy the white ones that were just launched.

You can buy a model Rifter for around $100.

They will even toss in some other useless stuff with it and it comes in a nice box.

You're allowed to build your own, or 3d print your own. Its not legal to sell them, and I don't think CCP has licensed anyone to do so.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

So CCP never sold any models on their site?

They used to be for sale in the EVE store. They where still for sale last time I was on the Store site but I have heard that they stopped selling the models in passing. Not sure if true or not.

Anyone know how to extract them from the client?

I pulled an Amarr shuttle out a few years ago and repainted it into a medical ship for some project that ended up going nowhere.

If it's still possible, you'll find the info here in the tech forum.

You can go to your local grocery store and purchase a 5 pound bag of Dominixes for about 3.50 (goddamn tree fiddy).

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

They used to have the 4 teir 2 battleship models for around $200 but they removed them when they took down the store. Currently, the only model that I know of that you can buy is the Rifter USB hub that comes in the special edition box. The price varies from 99-150 depending on sales

There is a thread with one person in NZ making some models. I must give them a yell about them if I get some spare money as I'd love to get one.

I don't understand why CCP doesn't get the ships to be outsource built and then sell on their online store, would be some nice revenue i would think.

You still can get model (and 4way USB Hub) of the Minmatar Rifter, if you buy EVE Second Decade Collector's Edition.

I would pay a lot for a ship model alarm clock that shoots slightly painful ammo if I hit snooze too many times.

That was the launch prices for those ships. I bought mine for for a fraction of that as the prices soon dropped to slow sales. There were also the alternate faction colors. These ships are gorgeous and actually are quite heavy. All of the old merchandise from the US based shop was liquidated before the new German based store opened. I also would highly recommend the old Art of Eve slipcase oversized artbook which was available from the old shop.

I have a Megathron and love it. Cool

I was truly helpful, posting that information.

I remember that a while ago there was a very good card model of a Rifter.

( Will have to look a bit deeper for it tho. )

What I did find that looks REALLY interesting is this.

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:107450

That's a Cynabal that has been 3D printed out - looks like theres a stack more of different ships and things as well.

With 3D printer prices dropping and them becoming seen a lot more they may be your answer.

There are also various 3D printing services as well. ( All kinds of prices and quality so again might be your answer.)
