Before 1.1 came out, I could undock without issue, after 1.1 came out this video shows some of the problems my corporation has had with the station after the new skins. Undock, hit stop, activate damage control and you go flying at 2-3km/s depending on the ship class.

Some stations have been kick outs for a long time, in particular certain gallente stations being designed to make it dificult for caps to undock out of. Those ones have been working as intended(TM) for years, so who knows what grand agenda CCP has planned with the new V3 skins?

This change is brilliant!!!!

A carrier or Dreadnaught can hit ctrl space without bumping into the station (as they are invlunerable for 60 seconds). They can then redock or jump out (only a bubble can stop the jump). However, if they are undocking to provide RR or join combat, they may bounce out of docking range.

This is a great change... (death to docking games!!!)

Well, while I agree that docking games can be annoying, I don't think that undocking and hitting your damage control should make you go flying 2-3km/s off the undock point.....

One of the most brilliant changes ever, every station should do that to every ship.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

I've filed one bug report already.

This is definitely not a nice change. Docking games or not, if you undock from a station in the middle of the station model, it is completely pointless the be out of docking range there. Being out of docking range on stations like the Minmatar Trade Post or the Gallente Factory Station where you undock right on the edge of the station, makes somewhat sense. Also, bumping off a station and then not being able to do anything (except for jumping maybe) can hardly be a approved game mechanics if it is deemed an exploit in other instances.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.
