CCP give more information on this issue please, ie, is it still Monday that you think a further breakage, i mean fix will be applied??, do you intend to reimburse lost ships through this and what about game time spread across multiple subbed accounts - will that be reimbursed. not enough being done for the customer here, and we are customers, please remember this

Even if you get reimbursements it will only be for destroyed content. Anything that dropped is gone.

Just want to add myself to this list as well. Feel stupid I didn't look on these forums last night instead with ape **** crazy trying to reinstall drivers twice and update as much as I could searching all over the internet for a fix on why out of no where Eve was crashing drivers. I am using a RadeonHD 6670 with windows 7 and having the same problem if I am out of station and try to warp anywhere at all I will half way get there and then it crashes with the error "Display Drivers have crashed, display drivers recovered" but then Eve is frozen and have to close out every time. Going to try the workaround using Dx9 instead of 11 when I get home from work today. Very frustration after taking a month break and coming back to the game not working anymore. Glad to know that there is an update coming next week hopefully to correct the issue though. Thank you CCP Devs for the quick response and possible solution.

I'm glad that the issue is actually being worked on. Thanks CCP Snorlax and group!

I wanted to point out an irony from some of the forum posters that are demanding that the issue be patched now, without further testing: That's probably how we got into this situation.

Let them test it well this time, please. I do hope we get reimbursed for lost game time and lost assets due to this issue, I think that would be fair, but please don't skip needed testing and further this issue. It could indeed be made worse by rushing it. (I was sent a complimentary set of boot.ini boots that I keep in my home station for the bitter-vet lols)

Seeing that this is an on going issue I think CCP should make mention of this on the Eve Online Launcher "Latest News" section.

Lots of people have unknowingly focused purely on their own PC's for troubleshooting CTD's and freezes, while the issue is not tied to PC setups of individuals but with Eve, DX11 and AMD(ATi).

Post something there, point to interim fix (DX9 mode) and I guess more people can get online and play as opposed to generating queries to CCP and/or raging.

DX 9 Gave me about an hour before it too crashed. The only solution I've found with some sort of stability past that since I do like most of us play for more than an hour here and there- Is to play it in Performance aka ugly mode. I too am glad I looked online for others having the problem before I went apes**t crazy tearing my tower apart or buying a new card...

Confirmed with AMD 7750 with latest drivers. Happened twice, 1. after warping to POS 2. on gate. Second crash also BSODed my system. EDIT: Switching to DX9 did not help. And now mine characted is stucked on gate, crashing always when he warped back. Thank you very MUCH CCP. Apparently testing of this patch have been very extensive...

Same here, only difference is an AMD 6950.

Updated drivers, attempted with DX9 and still crash on login when nearing the gate.

Im getting NVIDIA drivers crashers with a GTX 260 with the latest gforce 332.21 drivers. I've seen it happen when docking/undocking stations. I use DX9.

Can this damage my gpu?

I'm reluctant to even see if the new patches have changed anything in fear of further bluescreens vOv

I would like to add in that I have had a crash problem. This only happened after I downloaded Rubicon 1.1.2 patch. I attempted to login in a wormhole, after the e warp happened and it attempted to load the Forcefield of the pos, the client froze, both my screens flashed black a couple times, and both screens then appeared like what a tv looks like when you have it on antenna with no antenna plugged in. It was all fuzzy except there was color of the RGB spectrum with random black dots over the place. No BSOD, no crash. The only way to fix was to hard boot. I first thought my graphics card was faulty (I have a Sapphire R9 290), but then decided to look on these forums for a fix and so far I have been able to log in and sit at the POS with the DX9 workaround. Hope actually playing the game will be alright.

We have identified a probable cause for AMD drivers crashing and will have a fix in a patch on Monday. It does fix the repro case we had inhouse, and we've been testing on other setups and so far have not seen any fallout from that fix.

In the meantime some players have reported better stability with lower quality settings, in particular you should try to turn anti-aliasing off. There are mixed reports of this, but it's worth trying lower settings if you experience frequent driver crashes.

Hello,

Having the same issue on my Radeon HD6870. Switching to lower details didn't help, however switching to DX9 is working so far flawless.
