Devs: A Request / Tweak for POS & Corporate Access Privledges

Greetings everyone.

I've come across what seems to be a somewhat glaring problem with regards to POS access to manufacturers in a corporation.
Currently, our corporation wants to authorize a specific rank of member (Let's say Rookie Manufacturer) to be able to use a specific corporate hangar (Hanger 3) to store blueprints and minerals for manufacturing at our POS.

Now storing the materials and blueprints in our NPC base is fine. This is NOT true however, with regards to the POS itself.

As far as we can determine, if you want someone to have access to a manufacturing array (Such as ammunition) then you have to grant them full, complete access to the facility using the Configure Starbase Equipment privledge. This means that not only can they store and take items from the division hangar, they can can offline, unanchor, and take the facility to boot.

Can we perhaps have a tweak to POS access rights so that the storage ability, and being able to configure the equipment are SEPARATE abilities, rather then lumped together?

Devs, please investigate this concern, and see if a fix can be created? Thanks.

For manufacture and research at a POS, iirc they only require Hangar Access(other) for the divisions that you wish to give them and Divisional access to a single Wallet Division, and Factory Manager and Rent Factory Slot and Rent Research Slot.

Starbase equipment manger is not required.

Unfortunately, it appears that it currently is. That's the only thing that allows being able to access the storage in the facilities.
So, it's either allow full accesss, including off-lining and un-anchoring, or nothing.

It's been a while since I managed a POS, but from what I recall you can edit the roles required to use each array.

Go to the control tower 'configure' menu, structures tab and there will be a huge long list of all your module with a dropdown for each of them that lets you choose roles required to 'use' and roles required to 'offline/online'.

EDIT: then you simply set the 'use' requirement to 'corporation' and suddenly everyone in corp can use that array for personal jobs. The rent slots roles give them permission to install jobs on behalf of the corporation, but are not required to install personal jobs.

EDIT 2: this is an old article, but should still be accurate.

Hrm, that does indeed help, but in a convoluted way.

Instead of being able to simply being able to authorize those with a specific rank access to the POS, I now am able to grant EVERYONE with a specific rank (starbase fuel technician or configure starbase equipment) access to it. On the flipside, those structures I don't want them to have access to, I am then forced to change the structure permissions to the option I did not use for the access to.

Anyone else think this is a convoluted system?

Hrm, it seems that the setup for a POS configure starbase equipment and starbase fuel technican are borked somethin' fierce. In fact, they seem to be completely reversed in their implementation.

Supposedly, in order to grant those with the appropriate title/ranking within the corporation access to starbase facilities (ammo, drone, ship, labs etc) within the POS, you would grant them Configure Starbase equipment rights, as well as authorize the facilities within the station to respond to said rights. That does not however, seem to be the case.

Instead of granting rights to the facilities, and leaving the POS fuel-bay alone, it grants access to all of them, even if the POS itself is set to Starbase Fuel Technician privileges.

To correct this, You have to reverse the settings, and instead grant fuel technician access to those that you want to access manufacturing facilities, and set the POS itself to configure starbase equipment.

Why is it reversed like this? Is there a fix in the works for this, since it's not exactly following its own instructions and seems to be causing quite a bit of hassle and confusion?
