new feature up voting and acceleration: isk for features

If we like a feature or an idea we can donate isk to pledge our support and accelerate the realization of that idea.

The isk can be converted to plex by ccp and the money can be spent on that specific feature.

You would have to donate this kind of ISK if you want to have a say in CCP development process.

I assume that, since the plex for good helped real people, the plex have a real money value that can be donated to other causes aswell.

No they don't. The donation is a clever trick of numbers, not literally turning PLEX into real money.

Besides that, even all the money collected for PPG so far is completely insignificant compared to the cost of running a development team.

You can already help CCP prioritize new features through the CSM. The CSM already has stakeholder status, so if you want any more powerful influence, you will probably have to get involved with CCP management directly. Software development is not as simple as throwing money into a box and having code fall out.

Plus the CSM will filter out stupid but popular ideas. Voting will not.
