Yesterday i place a buy order for a ship for 2,5kk. The order duration was 1 day and i immediatly noticed in my wallet the negative transaction + broker fee. ok

Today i log in and i see my order expired: no one has sell me that ship because in assets i dont see it. In my wallet the 2,5kk dont come back?!!!? is it normal ?
Expired buy order mean losing money?

IIRC, it can take an extra downtime or two for the expired order to be processed by the server. You should get your money back tomorrow.

Also, did you use the assets "search" tab, or did you only look in the "station" tab? It is possible to create a buy order which will buy the item within a range of the station where it was place. IE, the ship might be in another station in the system, or in another system entirely if you set up the order that way accidentally.

If the expired orders need an extra downtime to be processed im ok, i suppose this is the correct reason

In future, you can make 90 day order for same price and then cancel order manually to get ISK back immediately (and items for sell order.)

Since 1 day order and 90 day order will have same cost, and you can allways cancel manually, there usually is no reason to use anything else than 90 day orders. Unless you want to make sure that order will get cancelled sooner even if you forget to cancel it manually.

Also, when cancelling order, the Broker Fees are not returned.
