The last caldari rail ship was in 2006.

5 years ago.

Since then you've had the Drake introduced, as well as the Tengu (completely missile oriented).

bantam -> kessie -> merlin
osprey -> caracal -> moa
scorp -> raven -> rokh
ferox -> drake -> naga


seems about right.

Personally, I think the Cruise Missile idea was the best one. Even with the recent efforts to buff hybrids, I suspect we're looking at a DOA ship as far as PvP goes.

I'd assume cruise missiles would work the best as well, however, I think it may still need a target painter buff as well.
Possibly a increase velocity buff with a reduced flight time to make them more pvp viable, but again, i'm not too sure how you would go about balancing that.
