"This week in EVE" is a weekly overview of EVE Online related news and events and shows what is going on in EVE Online. The focus of this overview is on official news from CCP: For example, dev blogs and important forum posts by CCP developers, the ever evolving background story and upcoming events.   • The Next Generation of Mobile Structures - Forum discussion
  • With Rubicon 1.1, to be deployed on January 28, several new mobile structures will be introduced. Read all about these new structures - Mobile Micro Jump Unit, Mobile Scan Inhibitor, Encounter Surveillance Unit and two Siphon variants - in CCP Fozzie's latest blog. He also offers some usage statistics about the usage of the Mobile Units first introduced with Rubicon 1.0.

  • Tracking Camera UI Improvements - Forum discussion
  • CCP DelegateZero informs you about the upcoming improvements on the tracking camera UI and the efforts to consolidate all camera related options to a central place easy to access. Read more about those improvements in the blog and learn also how the current camera setting (tracking other objects or focused on your ship) will be easily visible.

  • Community Spotlight: Kirith Kodachi - Forum discussion
  • CCP Eterne presents in the long running Community Spotlight series this time the brilliant player Kirith Kodachi, who in his 7 year EVE Online career has produced an amazing amount of content for the EVE community.
