CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.

Then next election you better vote and the code might go away. Or you could join a nullsec alliance that happens to be recruiting. I never see code dudes in Dek.

There's an ap for that. And as it happens, it's built right into your browser. It'll also cover basic grammar if you are in any way interested in people taking you seriously (which I doubt).

It does?

Sure! It doesn't sound profitable at all, but I like the space-tourist aspect.

Join the mining tour! Stare at rocks all across New Eden, and get ganked by the locals!

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Yes, it is very viable. Be willing to talk in local so you meet some of your neighbors -- you might find some guys or corp that you want to hang out with for a while.

It is easier if you cross train to fly an orca to be able to move your stuff around.

i like the OP's idea because it makes mining more dynamic, at least at a degree. if you do it for fun, but profit wise, you loose time travelling from system to system (mining ships are AWFUL for travel, not enough cap for several warp, slow to align, slow war speed). that time can be better spent focusing in a single belt and mining it completelly in the same system.

what it could be is to travel one day to one system and mine a whole day there, then refine and sell. or put a courier and sent everything to a trade hub once you finish.....

Mining in Eve is relaxing....

Until you meet the disciples of Buttholio714 or whatever his name his..... you see, he has managed to convince some dingle berries to believe in his delusions of grandeur, or as he likes to call it.... "The Crap" er I mean "The Code". The dingle berries will then proceed to bump your ship to keep you from mining until you pay them a ransom to stop.

Buttholio 714 and his dingle berry followers believe that this is their destiny in life.... to extort imaginary money from people who pay real money to earn the imaginary money...you will get a headache if you try to reason it out.

So, Buttholio 714 and his dingle berry followers will enforce their "CRAP" er "CODE" on anyone willing to pay. The "Crap" er "Code" would go right down the toilet if people would stop paying them.

In summary, Buttholio 714 and his dingle berry followers will never realize that their "Crap"... er "Code" is nothing but a huge pile of stinking sh........well you get the idea, because they suffer from delusions of grandeur. It somehow makes them feel impotent..er I mean important in their meaningless lives.

I have never paid in game money to mine when I already pay real life money to do the same, nor will I ever do it... If you happen to get a dingle berry while mining an assteroid, just leave and go someplace else.... there are about a gazillion places to mine in peace.

Extorted for 10 mil? You are purchasing a Mining Indulgence, the ability to mine however much you want and not be harassed. Its worth every .01 ISK. Just like anything else in Highsec, it can be viewed as a tax, a necessary evil if you may wish to call it that.

Now, if you believe that its extortion, there are other alternatives, but most usually involve some very sensual maneuvers with some very fast and heavy ships, and usually end with a fair bit of Fed Navy Antimatter applied in not-so-erotic ways... although the word 'hull penetration' may be used near the end moments...and that's kinda hot.

It genuinely makes no sense to fail to buy a permit.

For less than 28,000 isk per day, you can enjoy safety the likes of which no non-compliant miner can ever dream of.

This is the kind of personal attack and trolling that, if you had written something GOOD about the New Order, would have gotten your post deleted. Fortunately for you, personal attacks and insults about us are allowed so it will stand.

Highsec is worth fighting for.

By choosing to mine in New Order systems, highsec miners have agreed to follow the New Halaima Code of Conduct.  www.minerbumping.com

I love all the people who post things like this on anonymous alts. If the Order is so meaningless, why not post with your main? I'm sure that you don't actually mine anyway & you have powerful friends in nullsec or something so where's the harm? Blink

It will be fun.....for a little while. It will become pretty lonely and repetitious.....and there is significant risk mining alone.

You may find more fun in joining Brave Newbies. The Brave Provisions group mines low sec, and provides fleet protection, ore and ice buy back programs, and a very fun per hour oriented social experience that you may find invigorating. (And profitable.)
