I desperatly want to remove this annoying banner. It loads AFTER the rest of the entire article, just in time to pop infront of your cursor when you're trying to click a link, and hides a good quarter of the visible portion of the article

I use Chrome, are there any plugins that can remove this?

I tried the Following Filter in AdBlock but it didnt work:
"##div#B11_Donate_Currency2_AvsB_CA"

Im not sure why it didnt work, this is how they describe blocking elements in the ABP website. Maybe has something to do with a javascript loading it late, i dont know

"War declarations are never officially considered griefing and are not a bannable offense, and it has been repeatedly stated by the developers that the possibility for non-consensual PvP is an intended feature." - CCP

Click the little x in the top right of the banner, that'll close it and stop it loading.

Otherwise be patient and wait out the 2 second loading time.

I refuse to donate to Wikipedia. I was involved in a discussion on the legitimacy of adding a "controversy" section to the Wikipedia page for the show The Dating Guy, which basically summarized the claims of intellectual property theft by the creators and the broadcaster, Canadian cartoon broadcaster Teletoon (Canada's version of Cartoon Network) from the creator of the webcomic Least I Could Do. What followed was a massive flamewar that I tried to quell between a user named Elizium23 and several people on LICD's side.

Instead of trying to see things in a fair light, they banned me and several others, despite them having no proof that I was the other people.

So yeah, I take it as an insult when Wikipedia "personally" asks for donations. They aren't reliable, the moderators are very much fascist, and their rules don't make sense. You can follow them, but as far as they're concerned, they prefer to verify sources, not that they would be valid and correct.

Wikipedia is starting to show signs of mismanagement, i wouldn't be surprised if it was worse than the old Dramatica in a few years due to some of the mods trying to pretend they know everything just because they edit more.

Oh, and the whole notability thing is just pointless. If it happened, it's notable. I don't get why history should be ignored just because someone says so >_>

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

he was on the bbc programe question time last night ....and tbh he really didnt say anything of any relevence. I would have thought that such a pesron as him who had been invited to the TED talks would have been a bit more insightful..alas I was left wanting .Cry
