Problem is, I have a ton of isk but nothing exciting to buy... now what?

Quit, like everyone else who played Eve wrong.

this is the problem with ISK grinding: unless you start to PvP and use your ISK you have no reasons to grind.

my advice: as 0.0 seccer you can ignore your SS. So maybe to start PvP you just go to high-sec and suicide something? just to feel taste of blown ship and someones tears in local.... Maybe it will make you bloodthirsty after all

Huh? You obviously need to review the rules

41. Profit is its own reward.
97. Enough ... is never enough.
202. The justification for profit is profit.

And one for Eve: There is no wrong way to play eve.

You want a goal? Go to a region with no recognized trade hub and make one.

Depends on what your abstract mindset to an achievement is, Speaking as some one who finds watching little graphs go up and down enjoyable both in game and in the real world (graph p0rn that makes you $$$ is the best graph p0rn).

If I had serious capital I would see if I would just invest it into market areas. (ie. Buy all the cheap stuff, and flip it at the average price. but you need to be a real sick individual to enjoy it really..)

You could always buy up a bunch of plex and donate it to the Plex for Good Drive too...it might not be a fun goal but I think its an achievement nonetheless.

Too easy. With a bunch of isk you can buy people to create fun for you.

Jump into the local system channel and start offering isk for people to gank anyone you are flying close too.
Offer rewards for the winner of a fight you make the rules for.
Dump something in a jet can randomly in space and offer a reward for the person that scans it down and brings it to you.
Create a scavenger hunt and offer a big reward for the winner.
Or any other variation you can think of.

Bottom line is EVE is a sandbox, with enough isk the possibilities are only limited by your own imagination, or some game mechanics.

Hope you find something you enjoy.

Invest in a Catalyst crew. Join them and you can write a book with all the things you'll hear in local.

its interesting to hear about how fail I really am. The autobiography literally writes itself.

If you don't want to get "directly" involved in PvP but can handle a greater adrenaline rush from your PvE activities (And extra rewards on the side), try moving out to the NPC null space of the pirate faction you like the most (Or ORE space if that floats your boat), set up a little base camp for yourself, and figure out the best way to run missions for the pirate factions in said unsafe space. Still PvE, but packing a lot more kick than doing it in safe Empire space. Or sov null for that matter.

Also, the bad guys are a lot cooler than the boring ol' Empires.

I'm sure some will disagree, but head over to the character market and pick up a cheap pvp pilot! I'm pretty new to the game and am entirely rubbish at pvp but it's a total blast! Nothing else has come close to it. And if you hate it you can sel the toon on.

OP, people who only do one thing tend to burn out and quit. Try PvP with RvB. Try trading. Try industry. Try wormholes. Come to lowsec. You will enjoy some of these things at least.

Train up your leadership skills, corporate management skills and that kind of CEO stuff. Create a corp and recruit recruit recruit. Meet the expectations and needs of your members. Coordinate multi-farious activities for them. Show THEM the road to fame, fortune and interstellar GLORY! You've only scratched the surface. This is EVE Online, not Scratch 'n Sniff.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.
